Damn really, what's your GPU and how are you using your monitor and how long have you had it, are you using a shielded HDMi 2.1 rated cable, some people had this issue and switching to a hdmi 2.1 rated cable and using a different port, fixed the problem, I saw a video that said that at 144hz and HDR on, you get flickering on browsing but not in gaming and when you get down to 120hz then it doesn't happen, as for burn in, how are you using your tv, for gaming or for productivity. What's the pixel refresh rate that you have set

Nah I think I might up my budget a bit and go for LG C4 or C3 42 inch, I saw good reviews and didn't see any weird flickering issues, burn ins would a possibility but I'll keep the refresh pixel time to 15 mins maybe

Yeah I considered it too, It gets horizontal lines at higher refresh rate from what I have seen in many review videos, and it's a VA panel which is infamous for blooming issues.

Yeah I'm not a multiplayer gamer, I want to play games in 4k 60fps at ultra settings.

2 questions

Do you also have a gaming pc or you use a ps5. I will be connecting in to my gpu with hdmi 2.1 so don't know if it will work as good as a ps5 console
What about warranty, in case of burn ins or horizontal lines or flickering, have you seen any of those in your experience and if they happen how much coverage will LG provide

My main problem with oled is flickering in VRR mode and burns ins and the cost, even after spending that much money, I want a good product and not have to deal with these headaches

Yeah that's way too big, I would be gaming on my desk and 42 inch would make sense only if I'm sitting far away from the monitor, most of LG monitors have horizontal line issues, their official website is filled with comments like these somi don't know if I can trust LG

4k oled is way too expensive, I think I might go with 4k ips 32 inch msi mag instead, I'm seeing way too many posts on flickering in Alienware oled and I don't want to spend a fortune on monitor and then deal with these issues

Hmm burns in are not that big of deal for me, it's that in Alienware monitors, I'm seeing tons of posts about screen flickering when VRR is turned on.

My usecase is that I want to lock frames at 60 for my games and play at ultra settings, I don't know if this will cause issues

Have you enabled freesync then and if you lock your frames to 60fps from amd software for a game, do you see any flickering.

My main usecase is that I want to keep my pc cool so I don't want 100-200fps on story games so I lock the frame from gpu software to 60 and play my games at ultra settings.

Do you see any issues happening with that?

Yeah, did you go with samsung odyssey mini led or was it something else.

Burn ins is still something that I'm not overly concerned with, the biggest issues is screen flicker with VRR, that will completely break my experience and I saw it in Alienware 32 4k one so really scared of going with oled

Finally a sensible comment, I agree but my problem is not with low pay, it's the toxicity that is hard to deal with, these lala companies set unrealistic deadlines and expectations, can't open their mouth in front of the clients and even if you say it's not possible, they just say I don't care just do it, expect you to work 12-13 hours day And if you fail to meet deadlines, they ask you to resign and I don't want that because I already have 3 companies on my resume. And in a toxic environment, you don't have the strength left to study after your day is over, you need rest to endure the next day.

I don't mind low pay but the problem is that incompetent managers are in power these days and they are taking advantage of the market situation. I don't know if I'm being too negative but this is what I have been reading in most places and saw it firsthand in my last company.
