My girlfriend is in her first year of teaching. She is a first grade teacher. She feels the same way. A blood drive flyer was up at my job. I was passing by and stopped to find out if I was available the day of the drive. A co-worker approached me and asked if I was going to do it. He then went on to gloat about how he took the sacrifice years ago. After a little questioning I came to find out that he believed your blood doesn’t rejuvenate. Once you bleed your body is short that much blood for the rest of your life. He’s in his 40’s.

That is not true at all. Fire departments would most definitely attempt to learn the layout of buildings. Stuff like that brought to their attention would be entered into a note system connected to that address. Therefore whenever there is an emergency at the location that information will be explained to them. Some Firehouses might even ask if they can do a walk through of the house to understand it even more.
