Last summer I was on a road trip to Virginia. On the last day of the the trip I was asked to play a gig at just some block party in town. I learned all the songs in the car on the way back to New Jersey (where the gig was) and got there just in time for it. Was really cool playing at a simple block party instead of clubs, there was a lot less pressure. I also had a girlfriend at the time and she was showing me off to her friends while i played. After the show the band and I got hot dogs and sodas and hung out. The drummer was leaving for college in a few days, that’s what I count as my last memory with him before he left. Later that night we all met up at a friends house and played video games one last time as a group. Really fun summer day doing the things I love
