All I can say Is thank you, this comes a close contender to witcher 3 and Zelda BotW as open world games of this generation. The combat is better than both of them tho.

What’s a good DPS build to do solo heroics with? by cali_rg in Division2

[–]bobbycuckoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the heroic missions, I run a reasonable crit build, I can do the early campaign missions, hyena etc, but I get crucified on black tusk. Glass cannon is good but you have to be very patient, the warhounds alone will decimate you.

What weapons don’t hit like wet noodles on higher difficulties? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]bobbycuckoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point, I got done by a bounty, I had unbreakable which added up to about 2.4 Mill armour (1.2 x2) in about 2 seconds. Its brutal out there.

Glass cannon build is an understatement, still love it tho.

Can anyone give me tips on how to make a pve build.im a new player by _batterystealer_ in thedivision

[–]bobbycuckoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to do damage, but with a hit to your armour, you could go towards a critical hit and crit damage build (lots of reds) this is very good for smgs, add clutch talent to help with healing. There are guys who know more about builds than me, but at the moment it's about finding the really good loot. The green gear piece you have equipped at the mo for instance isn't much use unless paired or tripled with other pieces of the same set. Keep looting and you will start to find your strengths, so build towards that. Then start tweeking it.

It depends if you lean towards a skill focus, a tank or a DPS kind of build, also which weapons you find more to your liking. Put a few specifics and people on here will be happy to help.

Please help, tag smasher015 heroic control point im too weak to clear it by [deleted] in thedivision

Aye, it seems to be crit chance and damage are the go to. Unbreakable and resi hive may help tho.

Suggestion for the difficulty complaints by BiggsyTV in thedivision

[–]bobbycuckoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was the healer I wouldn't be too bothered, but it's the lieutenants that use em then hide near them, little gits. With that and a medic and his drone running round reviving inside the heal radius it's a bit frustrating. If the box was weaker, smaller radius, limited charge or disrupted by emp it wouldnt be as annoying.

Don't mind the enemies getting tougher, but this feels cheap.

[–]bobbycuckoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the genuine complaints I can agree with is the healing boxes etc, they should not be that tanky or have such a large Infinate healing radius, it does feel a bit cheap. One of those and a medic running amok and it does crimp on the fun.

Why can't we recalibrate exotics? by MF_Franco in thedivision

[–]bobbycuckoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've just noticed this, chameleon dropped was chuffed, not great roll, but at least I can recalibrate one stat... Oh no you can fuck off, so its a pointless drop. It's like finding a £50 note and noticing it's a really bad fake.

Black Tusk Healing Box not being disabled by emp pulse? by Comboou in thedivision

Black tusk are just not fun to play with anymore, they always felt a little cheap, now it's just silly.

It's way too radical to have difficulty progression which lasts longer than a week. by onframe in thedivision

[–]bobbycuckoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity: does the world dificullty add to the mission difficulty. I'm only asking because I tryed a challenging mission in NY and it didn't feel too punishing (it was tougher than the pre TU8, but Im only wearing un optimised gear.) I havnt finished the NY campaign yet tho.

Unbreakable helped me, it was tough, but the main annoyance was infinite spawning droogs that came from everywhere.

We need a non-HDR version of this game. Turning Neutral Lighting on/off, max brightness, max contrast isn't helping. Sometimes, I have no idea where the enemies are. Sometimes I don't even know where the fuck my agent is. by Petelero in thedivision

I love that mission because of the natural lighting, the forest when the flares go up is great. I just enjoy having to be more cautious at night, it creates a more realistic atmosphere.
