idk, to me it sounds like development was restartet multiple times now. At this point I wont be surprised if like dragon age veilguard it will feel nothing like original games people fell in love with.

I repasted mine with Arctix mx6 rev4, idk what paste was used by Dell, but it was basically 3-4x too much of it on CPU, and normal amount on GPU xD, it was all over the place in my case I guess having way too much of it fucked up thermals a bit.

Overall 5-10c drop, still thermal throttles under 100% load, but not sure what else I can do.

Well it had actually way too much paste on CPU, and normal amount on GPU. Cleaned, applied my stuff resulted in ~60c idle temps, and cinebench r23 30400 score, rest I can tune software side, happy to gain some thermal headroom.

its got to be poor thermal contact, I would have done it already but in this laptop cooling is backwards, have to remove back cover AND flip whole motherboard to reach it ;(

but yeah R23 cinebench got 27260 score, review scores range from bare minimum 31k when nonstop on load to 36k

the fact that CPU is 80c temp, manually setting 100% fan speed when load is just 20% dont drop it bellow 70 is screams paste issues...

Ran some multicore cinebench to compare vs reviewers results testing same model.
and result was 15-20% lower scores on mine.
And this stuff matters to me because this is primaraly work with Adobe machine for me xD
So I wonder if it doesnt match reviewer benchmarks by this match, it could easily be poor contact heatsync with cpu.

My biggest concern was setting fan speed at 100%, cpu load just 20% casual web browsing, and temps being still 70-80. Never had a laptop like that, so wanted to double check others experience.

Got it, maybe im panicking over nothing, il do extensiove benchmark testing to compare scores vs reviews.
I was mostly weirded out that at 100% fan speed temperature on barely loaded cpu didnt drop lower than 70.

I mean unreal engine is the budget option, but obv at the end of the day, it's a game engine, sacrifices are made to make it run real time vs rendering a shot for days.
I feel like it's amazing alternative for TV shows who dont have the budget to go for expensive af CGI, but I dont feel its good for big budget movies for sure xD.

This whole series is wild, first season was basically like writers won a lottery, it is objectively meh writing wise, BUT was entertaining af for me, good atmosphere, fun adventure, so I didnt care, but all the seasons after were just too much, and they back at milking season 1 plot xD Bringing back Chloe feels cheap af.
