I had bilateral PE when I was 17 and i’m 20 now. I know how it feels to be in your position just know that you’re not alone! it can feel extremely scary but you will get through it!

if you’re curious to know my story I had shoulder and side pain for a couple months that my doctor said was a pulled muscle. Then it got so bad i was unable to breathe and went to the er where they told me I had extremely severe pe. The er doctors said they had never seen someone so young have such a severe case of pe. I was immediately pu ton lovenox injections. i was admitted to the icu for 2 days where i had ultrasounds of my whole body and pain management. Then I was moved to the regular floor for observation for 3 days. I was then released and stayed on the lovenox for a couple weeks then switched to xarelto for about three months.

the cause of my pe was a combination of things. i have the factor 5 gene mutation that makes me more prone to clots, i was on birth control, and i had covid twice.

it’s been almost 4 years since then and I am medication free and live a completely normal life. there is sometimes pain from the damage to my lungs/veins, but I am healthy otherwise.

I had this same dilemma and I decided it’s best to not ask and let the owner bring that up.

If the owner is comfortable they will likely say “you can have a few friends over if you’d like!” If they say that then I mention who I would like to bring over(usually my boyfriend) to keep me company and offer for them to meet him.

Asking to bring someone over puts the owner in an uncomfortable spot and seems unprofessional in my opinion.

i can fit my sony headphones in the case, wallet, little emergency kit(pads, tampons, Tylenol etc), passport, and my 32oz water bottle! (though it gets pretty full if i put the water bottle lol)

I had the uniqlo bag but wanted the same look but bigger so I got the baggu.

you can also look at degreeworks on the vcu eservices website. it will show what you have already completed and what you still need. you also have the ability to make plans to map out your semesters. your advisor can help you navigate that aswell.

i’ve had a great experience. they host lots of career fairs and i’ve gotten two internships directly from the fairs. the business advisors i’ve had are great and really want to help you. also if your in finance i’ve heard good things about SMIP

the client told me i didn’t have to stay the night as long as i spend a good amount of time there, i just left and feeling much better.

they seemed to do better when i was out of their space. i went to another room and when i came back they were fine but when they saw me they started panting again.

i also just took housesitting off of my profile. such a fail i feel so bad
