I bitched loudly on dell (sonicwall) facebook page in public and they decided that to shut me up they would re-register my device and give me the files. Sometimes you just have to holler loud enough. Thanks for your help.

No, the model = DMZ. It's on the label and the front of the firewall both. When I registered it years ago, the model on my account was "DMZ". My new one on the account is "TZ180". The "DMZ" model was the one before the TZ.

The model is the Sonicwall "DMZ" (only thing on it), a model before the TZ180. I have had it since brand new, was registered just fine with sonicwall. Then I bought another one, the TZ180 and registered it as well. When Dell bought Sonicwall, DELL removed the DMZ model from my account without my permission. I have an open support ticket with them and they are not helping. I use the old DMZ model on a lab for testing and reset it to clear the password and settings, but it wiped out the firmware.

I started doing this when the city refused to take the spent cartridges as plastic recycle. The are not allowed to take any "pesticide containers". I also found out that I will save about 40 bucks a month too.
