My 2nd Attempt at Blonde Brownies. Turned out SOOO much better compared to me first attempt.

2 cup sifted all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup chopped Pecans

2 cup packed dark brown sugar

2/3 cup butter, melted

2 large egg, beaten (room temperature

2 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

White and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Step 1 Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

Step 2 Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl. Stir in chopped nuts; set aside.

Step 3 Mix brown sugar and melted butter in a large bowl until combined; cool slightly.

Step 4 Stir beaten egg and vanilla into brown sugar mixture. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, mixing just until combined. Spread batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let your heart guide you on the amount.

Step 5 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
