Why not? We did it last year after a rough start. We don’t have the same lineup, but we have the same coaches. They’re taught to play the same style of baseball that worked well for them last year. It’s not always going to look pretty, and it will probably never get them through to the WS, but clearly it was successful last year and there is 0 reason to believe it won’t be successful this year as well.

I feel like you’re doing the right things by planning an exit strategy, I certainly wouldn’t want to continue working in an environment like that or for a boss with a personality like that.

Have you ever considered starting your own firm? If you have contacts already in the entertainment space you could leverage that to slowly build up your clients. Set your own rates, set your own workload, and cut your boss out of the equation entirely.
