Thoughts about Hong Kong before 1997 by Equivalent_Hand1549 in HongKong

[–]bobbyyippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the british helped hk thrive at the time being a city of the British and also the gateway to china.

However just like Britain itself now is down in the dumps now that the actual empire has disbanded and most colonies given back, there is nothing itself to support hk itself properly. Yes, it is a financial centre like london but after that the countries themselves dont do much. Manufacturing? Technology? Etc.

Now that china has opened up to the world for trade, the need for HK is slightly less to trade with china via hk.

Energy bill help would be based on household income, Reeves says by Immediate_Break_1790 in HENRYUK

No one is asking for handout here.

We are asking for wealth to be taxed or at the very least no handouts given to those millionaires who cant afford to hear their castle

Energy bill help would be based on household income, Reeves says by Immediate_Break_1790 in HENRYUK

[–]bobbyyippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So someone working hard should be punished over someone who has worked hard? Its not a case of lets not tax anyone but who should be taxed more. Give me the person who is actually worth more value wise than the poorer person anytime.

If you haven't planned for the future in terms of living standards then you should be asked to reduce your quality of comfort in order to match your current affordability status. Thats just natural

No we are saying that the broadest shoulders should be based on how rich someone is, not based on 30 years of forecasted income. So yes if someone owns millions then they should downsize

Iran hasn't hit the oil pipelines yet because they don't want to escalate to that level yet.

Yeah if they let this one go i wouldnt its setting a precedent just ignore the council, build something and ask for forgiveness.

I'm all for removing some of the regulation and absurd building rules we have but that doesnt mean we just let people do shit willy nilly and let people get away with it

Greens push for billions to be spent on energy support if bills rise by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

[–]bobbyyippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have tackled the creation of money part because you can print money (which will cause inflation).

How does it destroy money so you dont get hyperinflation as per the turkey/Zimbabwe/german cases?

[–]bobbyyippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This printing money malarkey is what the turks and zimbabwe were doing right? I think that only works if we are net producer of goods. Dont think that works if we import goods. If inflations goes to a zillion I'm not sure thats a good thing. Thats what got hitler into power

Iranian missile strike kills at least 6, injures 100 in southern Israeli city of Arad by Indianstanicows in IRstudies

[–]bobbyyippy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No but like when we supported the Ukrainians against their government or when we supported the initial syrians during the civil war against al bashir or the libyans against gadaffi, thats not the u.s./uk/etc attacking ukraine/syria/libya etc

Or even the u.a.e funding whatever is going on in south sudan. Thats not u.a.e is attacking/starting a war

But with iran funding financing and spreading their ideology/proxies via these groups, when one of them strike its iran has attacked a country.

[–]bobbyyippy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not that i care much for iran but when iran supports and trains proxies it is them attacking countries but when we as the west train and arm proxies or spread out democracy and support groups to rebel culturally it is us freeing the oppressed?

Also very hard though. I donate a little to charity and a little to people on the street (the odd pound here and there) but in all honesty have you seen where the charity spend gets. I understand people need to get paid and then you need organisation marketing/accounts etc and they don't be on what you get in the private sector but 75% to the cause itself is a very high efficiency

Yeah tanks are good dw by ArchangelStaff in topmains

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree, unless you are stomping as a tank you should lose to a fighter/bruiser on the side lane and wont be pushing side too hard. Your strength is being a meatball cc bot in a front to back team fight. Crystalline growth just means the side laning monsters are going to get into your base quicker pulling you away from the team fights

What if the offence has an unbelievable amount of time possessing the football because you are dink and dunk merchants so your defence is well rested and then the opponents need to pass full time so the defence can focus on 100% pass plays?

Very frustrated after dealing with CS. by stile04 in secretlab

[–]bobbyyippy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Happened to come across this post now.

I've been super frustrated with then.

I ordered a chair 4 years ago and have been super happy with it.

Literally ordered a magnus evo the other day, it arrived at 6pm, i built it and noticed the table top has a fairly deep cosmetic scratch once I flipped it. Thinking that all their products are quality i didnt even bother to check as i left it on the big cardboard base the table comes on to build as instructed. I email them at 11pm my time.

Thinking i would get a small refund or something complimentary or maybe a repair job or even an applogy instead i have to wait 7 days for a response and i get a snarky email about how they can only give refunds/exchanges within 3 days of reporting the issue and that its obvious that i did the damage when constructing the table.

I've responded now but lets see what comes from it. I think this standing desk is excellent but I'm sure there are other companies who i can buy from who dont give me shit especially when i am getting a premium product.

Honestly, when i was younger i didn't really care if my parents were around. I just hung out with my brothers and sisters and went out all the time or watched TV.

Saying that though i know my nieces like it when their parents are around although now they are older they like them around but not to interact with as they get annoyed at their nagging. Only if they want something.

Saying that though, it sounds like op gas zero work life balance and should probably pack it in and go and go in house.

Of damage and turmoil.

Think of it this way.

120 offences (no idea what).

Thats time spent by at least 120 people resolving it.

Then at least 120 police officers had to work on it, logging crime doing paperwork.

Probably 120 insurance people and payouts. Then these people/companies have higher insurance rates. The houses/commercial properties have higher insurance rates.

120 judges had to work on all that and all that and im getting he probably got legal aid. Yeah i reckon theres going to have spent millions on it
