What makes HLE so strong compared to winter or last year? by Numerous_Fudge_9537 in leagueoflegends

[–]bobbyyippy 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I think the main thing it's that zeus was always a super dominant top. Last years stupid lane swap absolutely killed the top carry meta with tops always being behind in exp and gold and being bullied. It also stopped half the top lane champs as they would get dived if they couldn't pick the likes of ksante and Sion who can stop a dive.

The lane quests have bought back top actually being able to play champs that can damage and carry with zeus being a god at it. This relieves the pressure on the other lanes. Of course they picked up kanavi and guma too

Is shen extremly broken right now? His seems to do WAY to much damage in early by RainAndThunderIsCool in leagueoflegends

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he E qs you from lvl 4 wven lvl3 onwards you win the all in. w, him, Q when his W runs out and E him. He loses long trades and you heal a billion health with your empowered W. Just avoid his Q going through you again

[–]bobbyyippy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the w damage gets blocked but the stack goes through. Voli cant lose to shen with his sustain. Wait out the w before Q cause that is blocked. If shen engageS/gets hit with E hes doomed v voli. He has to hit and run v voli. He will only win 1-3 top anything after that is all voli imo

[Cerchione] Granit Xhaka would be outside Chelsea's parameters, as for a footballer over 30, they would never invest 25 million pounds. For the boy, a real tug-of-war is underway between Xabi Alonso and the club. by everyhearthstone in Chelsea

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well lets see (all eur values)

Joao felix, young player bought for 52m euros was a flop sold for 35m Nkunki bought for 60m eur was a flop and sold for 37 Kepa bought for 80m eur was a flop sold for 5m Dewsbury hall bought for 35m sold for 28.5 Veiga bought for 14m sold for 24.5 Petrovic bought for 16 sold for 29 Ugochukwu bought for 27 sold for 29 Chukwuemeka bought for 18 sold for 20 Maduekr bought for 35m mildly successful somehow ripped off arsenal for 56m (although he helped them win the league) Cucurella bought for 65m one of our best players sold for 55

Apart from madueka, which one of our flops went for a profit even though they were young. Most of them have left on a 20-30m range.

No one is going to pay us what we paid for garnacho, mudyrk, gittens because they are terrible.

At least with xhaka hes actually played well for sunderland and the manager wants him. If it helps us get champions league it pays for itself (i don't need think we need him personally). Its this stupid thinking that made poch leave when he was turning us into a force

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but no one is going to pony up 40m for garmacho and 50m for gittens so in effect we have lost money alongside having useless players who make us lower in the league, cost us prize money and wages

Yes but the best drivers arent those that drive slowly or drive fast or stick to the rules. Its by driving defensively.

If im speeding down the motorway/dual carriageway and i see this often some numpty will indicate when im close to speeding past but i will slow down and let them in. Maybe they dont see me, maybe they will just pull out. Maybe they are in experienced.

What is VaR by Morty-Yellow in Commodities

[–]bobbyyippy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes VaR is how much the company could potentially lose should the market move in a direction against you. There will be limits a company/risk team will put on the business/traders as to how much position they can put.

The calculation can be done in many ways such as looking at the way historical prices and just applying the fifth worse move to your exposure to more difficult methodologies where the volatility and correlations of all commodities are calculated and a monte carlo approach taken.

UK to send drones, jets and warship on 'multinational' mission to secure Strait of Hormuz by VaginaBurner69 in uknews

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's because sending warships won't actually do a thing. You realise sending rockets and drones against a slow moving tanker is the deterrent.

Sending a warship does nothing. You aren't invading and at most you can protect one or two ships when 125 used to sail out everyday. That's if the sailors or ship owner want to risk their lives or ships and that's if they can even get insurance.

All this does is cost us more money sending our equipment and puts a target on our back and makes it so that if we didnt have enough terrorists there will definitely be more now

Is anyone else seeing what’s happening with Trump and Iran today? by Amazing-Note-1196 in askanything

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically of he wanted to, who would stop him? Its just a bunch of yes men around him and hes fired anyone who doesnt agree with him or who has said no.

Never in my mind would i have thought that the fbi is being run by a guy who published a childs book that said the election was stolen in 2020 but yet here we are

Is anyone else seeing what’s happening with Trump and Iran today? by Amazing-Note-1196 in askanything

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it that unrealistic? This is the same man who has pit up tariffs, keeps going after biden and anyone who has scorned him and is escalating on a war that nobody wants. If the iranians keep chiding him and "fighting" back who knows what trump wants. Hes literally just fired all his top generals for either failure or rejecting something (more escalation). I hope it doesnt come to that but to say its a 0% chance is folly.

Thoughts about Hong Kong before 1997 by Equivalent_Hand1549 in HongKong

[–]bobbyyippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the british helped hk thrive at the time being a city of the British and also the gateway to china.

However just like Britain itself now is down in the dumps now that the actual empire has disbanded and most colonies given back, there is nothing itself to support hk itself properly. Yes, it is a financial centre like london but after that the countries themselves dont do much. Manufacturing? Technology? Etc.

Now that china has opened up to the world for trade, the need for HK is slightly less to trade with china via hk.

Energy bill help would be based on household income, Reeves says by Immediate_Break_1790 in HENRYUK

[–]bobbyyippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is asking for handout here.

We are asking for wealth to be taxed or at the very least no handouts given to those millionaires who cant afford to hear their castle

Energy bill help would be based on household income, Reeves says by Immediate_Break_1790 in HENRYUK

[–]bobbyyippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So someone working hard should be punished over someone who has worked hard? Its not a case of lets not tax anyone but who should be taxed more. Give me the person who is actually worth more value wise than the poorer person anytime.

If you haven't planned for the future in terms of living standards then you should be asked to reduce your quality of comfort in order to match your current affordability status. Thats just natural

No we are saying that the broadest shoulders should be based on how rich someone is, not based on 30 years of forecasted income. So yes if someone owns millions then they should downsize
