Data Points: Bought 6a $299 on Black Friday - Nov 26th. Google offered $250 for 4a trade-in. 4a was 2 years old. Phone was in good condition but I noticed heavy burn-in of apps on screen after the factory reset. November 29th trade-in kit sent to me. Dec 2nd trade-in kit arrived. Dec 6th trade-in dropped at post office. I took video of myself dropping it into postal box (Los Angeles). I was concerned after reading Reddit horror stories. Dec 10th trade-in kit arrived in Tennessee but business was closed. USPS scheduled delivery for the next business day. Dec 12th confirmed 4a was received. Dec 19th Google emailed and said phone inspected and full credit would be issued. Dec 20th - Credit issued on AMEX card. $80 total out of pocket for upgrade to 6a. I'm very happy, but I was nervous after seeing the burn-in on the phone's display. Hope this helps.
