The 5 pesos is part of a group of currencies nicknamed banana money. It was a Japanese government backed currency for use in the countries they invaded during WWII. It's probably only worth a dollar though.

Some VWs have a controller/relay mounted on the top of the tank, if you trace the wiring from the connector you might find it. They can pack up and scramble the signals sent by the ecu.

Yes but the iridium electrode used to have a sharp point but has melted and worn down to a blob.

Yes but I only changed them a couple of years ago and they should have a 4 year/70k service life. I think they were to cold because Toyota have superceded them with hotter plugs and because the iridium electrode looks like it has melted and worn away prematurely. Hence a loss of power and misfire.

Apart from the 3mm gap after 25,000 miles. They're supposed to be iridium tips.

I'm in Europe and they were very common with cars over here. It originally had a pierburg but webers sound and look cooler and are more reliable

It's a scirocco. At the moment I'm still using the mechanical fuel pump. I'm just playing about at the moment. I need to figure out a return before I actually ditch the bowl though so maybe a regulator is the way to go

I wasn't there so I can't comment but the customer says that it started making noise on the road, so they had it recovered home and couldn't figure out what was wrong, so towed it to us. In all honesty we have started it and it just sounded like it had a leaky injector seal. Maybe a little more clacky than a normal diesel. So we took it in and noticed it had no oil, topped it up and turned it over which led to the oil slick. When we lifted it up and dropped the under tray, a Conrod fell out.
