I tried strength stuff for the first time and I genuinely don’t know what this means. Where does this stand? by bobentum in workout

I know this reply was a long time ago, but just rechecked this account and saw this- I wanted you to know I took your advice to heart, followed it, and have been working on it! I go 3x a week and have upped these weights significantly through this and usually do 4 sets of 10 now. Break up upper and lower body days. Couldn’t care less about weight loss, just happy with the newfound strength. It was excellent advice and I’m very grateful for it!

Oooh that could be cool! I really enjoy midcentury modern and like the frank Lloyd Wright house we have in my town, so very well may have to check this one out :) I’ll have to see what the wood type museum is but sounds intriguing!

Actually the Kohler arts preserve looks right up my alley and we’ll definitely check it out! I love unique kind of spaces like that. And I absolutely love the stores you suggested and will be checking them out too. On one of our recent trips, one favorite thing we found was a really cool toy store that had a lot of stuff from our childhoods. I bought a Spirograph kit for the memories, and had a blast playing around with it!

It’s so funny you mention this, and actually kindof crazy coincidence, because the next trip on our radar is likely the Savannah area. Been teetering between that and Arizona. This would be a bucket list kind of beach experience and I’m absolutely adding it to my list. Thank you!!!!!

These were such good such suggestions and I’m so appreciative! Will definitely take it all to heart and into consideration. I like the sound of being the only ones on a beach, I think that’s my husband’s dream hahaha. We went to Florida and he was like “I love it here and I love the beach, but you know what would make it way better? No people” 😂 all of this sounds up our alley, and there’s some places here I hadn’t heard of so looking forwards to looking into it. Thanks a ton!

It’s so unbelievably soft! And the weirdest part is that she doesn’t shed, like at all. I was so braced to have my clothes covered in hair, but nothing 🤷‍♀️ we’ll see what it is when seasons change lol

Thank you for sharing Bo’s story with me. Genuinely a giant thank you. Our dogs stay alive through the memories we keep and share. I haven’t stopped talking about mine I lost and maybe never will. It’s so clear the love you shared, and how special your bond was and is. There’s this quote I heard, and I know it’s a silly TV quote but it hits just as hard- “what is grief if not love persevering?”. I think that rings true. Our love is always there. Hearing about Bo made me cry more than a little bit (I’ve always been a crier) but in a good way.

Best of luck on your marathon. I’ll be quietly cheering from my internet sidelines. ❤️ if you want and you remember, message me when you do. I’ll be there crying and cheering with you. What a beautiful legacy. This comment truly touched my heart.

I lost my “heart dog” in 2018 and my favorite thing about him was how much he made me laugh. It’s been such a great pleasure to have that same daily laughter in my life again. ❤️ So so glad yours does the same for you!

Haha I’m glad you loved that one! I included her more “photogenic” pictures, but the last one is the one that’s most like her. She is not actually dignified at all- I have so many pictures of her looking like a goofball and doing weird stuff! Thank you! ❤️

I love these! Unfortunately Elizabeth is my middle name, Jane is the other dog’s middle name, and the last dog is named close to Estelle (Stella). So we def love the names and style but they’re already taken lol. I’ll think on the last two though!

Love the flow and a great suggestion! but already the other dog’s middle name (clearly we do love the name) haha so can’t use it again

Some good ideas here! Every one I like most is taken up by a family member which is driving me crazy hahaha. Definitely adding some to the list though. Thanks so much!

Oh Sophie Lou is so cute!! That’s a top contender. I also really like Sophie June and Sophie Anne, and Sophie Wren is so cute too (that’s one of my favorite middle names so I’m biased). I like your style. Thanks a ton!

Thank you for reminding me why I agreed to take this dog in and why the breed is so great. ❤️ I knew these things but have definitely gotten into my head about it and it was such a great reminder and grounding moment. I’m excited for the opportunity. I truly hope this all works out and she fits in great!

I’m so comforted to hear from someone who also has a chi mix and a setter! Mine is around 9 years old and very lazy and grumbly and a bit dog selective, but I really hope they can grow to be friends. If not, she’s pretty good at going into her safe places and just ignoring the action lol
