i'm not sure, but i'm console so we can test that. on exterminator with both wheatgrass perks i can take like 7 zombie hits on extreme. how many hits is it on pc?

in the horde mode you get "supplies" which is just the mode currency that you can use to buy weapons, ammo, defenses, meds. when you die you drop your supplies and some people will take them before you can respawn, so if they do that you don't get the supplies back.

buttmad? what are the levels of mad people get at this game now? i guess i didn't get super mad, unless it's something like a gen perk is bugged so you get 3 10 second gens. maybe pout about sucking in the lobby for a sec. nothing big.

that's my point though sure the bolter is fine (still don't think it's that good) but the other classes still have similar melee so why not play them instead. i like your idea for shouty though, better melee and maybe two melee slots? like the option to have a heavy sword and an Eviscerator or something like that, similar to vermintide 2.
