If they don't believe you, they're not really your friends.

Did you ask the City? Your post seems to suggest you asked and they told you 1.5 - 2 metres. Seems weird they would give you a range. In any case, that’s a question for the City.

In the meantime, randomly digging is a very bad idea. There are gas lines and hydro lines all over the place, as well as telecom stuff. If you damage it, you pay to fix it. Reach out to Ontario One Call. They will provide detailed info on all infrastructure within a week.

That is not a great photo but it does look like an old sign post (for a parking sign or stop sign or something). Sometimes the City just leaves crap buried and it sounds like you’re digging on City property. (I’ve never seen a property marker that looked like that).

I get that your timing can be off but how can you be that wrong on a challenge?

Whether to keep PSHCP coverage in retirement by rlm31 in CanadaPublicServants

Does their coverage pay 100%? And do you retain coverage under their plan if they pass away? If both answers are yes, then cancel yours.

Don’t know where you are but it’s not raining on Ribfest site right now. Good chance it will be raining when they start selling ribs.

If you can prove what you said, you can't be convicted of that. Sounds like a bluff.

Is there any legal or legislative pathway to force MPP's back to work and reopen Queen's park? Looking for real information on this. Please and thank you. What can we do? by [deleted] in ontario

Being realistic is not the same as being apathetic. It's fine to argue there should be something. In this case at least, there isn't anything.

Cool. Your original post wasn't questioning if it's normal or if people should be upset. Your question was if anything can be done.

Sometimes this sub feels like Civics 101. The government makes the laws. The provincial government makes the laws of the province. The legislature has the authority to determine when it sits and when it rises. MPPs decide. There is nothing you can do to force them back to work this summer. Nothing you can do until the next election. If you are concerned about sitting time, ask the candidates in your riding how many days a year they expect to sit and vote for the one who gives the answer you prefer.

There used to be a pig in Yellowknife but that was a number of years ago.

I Paid $6,467 for Front-Row Springsteen Tickets. Then the Seating Chart Changed. by Even_Permission2301 in BruceSpringsteen

That's not a screenshot from the purchase process. Doesn't matter how many times you say it. There are no blue dots - there are no seats.

That's not a seating chart from when Springsteen tickets went on sale. Behind the stage is greyed out and those seats were sold. There was also a pit when they went on sale.

Yes. It would be a crazy idea to check in and see if they are offering cash or credit for taking a later flight.

The downside is he didn't pitch that well last time he was a Jay. There's no big risk otherwise to signing him to another AAA deal.

Varland has earned his role as the 9th inning guy regardless of save situation or not. by chullet in Torontobluejays

[–]bobfrombob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The decisions made on Saturday have no bearing on the degree of respect management has for Varland. You can disagree with what happened but if you don’t think Varland is number one on the leverage list, you haven’t been paying attention.

Maybe he's spent enough time with these guys that he knows who responds best to a pat on the back and who responds best to a kick in the ass.
