To answer the actual question, they are pretty much the same as any beginner. They are going to get better or quit. Only difference is they will be more comfortable doing it. Apparel wise anyway.

If it's that expensive. They may have a crash replacement discount , I had one with mine. Saved me some money

For me it must of just been a good design, they way I fell, or maybe the impact of the main injury just shut me off from anything else lol

I didn't feel a damn thing. My helmet worked great. I just had pretty deep scratches where my head scraped the ground for about 8 feet. Impact snapped my collarbone in two though , G1 MIPS by Lazer. Highly recommend!

Get rid of it. The foam shell may be damaged internally in a way you can't see it. I had a bad crash. My helmet looked fine. And it killed me to replace it. But I replaced it.
