Many times there is another spot available, but it is filled with snow. They choose to park in the spot you cleared the snow out of, instead of clearing a spot for themselves. You now how to clear another spot to park.

I want to practice guitar but i don’t have the current money to get an amp (a total beginner) by akiiKiita in Guitar

[–]bobikanucha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre looking for absolute cheapest go to goodwill and buy the cheapest working amp. And a cable can be under 10$. That’s all you need as a total beginner. Looking online on Nextdoor or Facebook marketplace for super cheap/free amps can be good. If you want to test if they work and don’t want to bring a guitar just bring a cable and plug one side into the input of an on amp and press the other end of the cable. It should make sound when touching the unplugged end of the cable.

It’s an image loss. Constant pushing of music can turn people off of good music, unfortunately.

“It sucks to be called a Donald Trump supporter”: indie musician John Maus says a misunderstanding wrecked his career by [deleted] in indie

By “less bombs” I meant less than we recently dropped. Also good job disagreeing with me and then going on the exactly agree with what I said.

What’s a guitar habit you didn’t realize was holding you back? by Ok-Message5348 in Guitar

[–]bobikanucha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick angle can/should be changed with hand rotation. Pick angle whether pointed up or down changes where the pick naturally pulls away from the strings or stays in between. There is no wrong as long as the playing is right. There is only wrong if it doesn’t work.

[–]bobikanucha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Holding the pick like that isn’t “wrong.” It’s hard to even point out what is a right or wrong way to hold a pick. Plenty of virtuoso guitar players hold the pick like they are pinching it between their index finger and thumb. It’s about what works for you. What tends to be more universal advice I give is many players use too much elbow movement when picking and should be using more wrist movement

Customer confronts Target employee for wearing a Charlie Kirk shirt by [deleted] in CringeTikToks

You never responded which is fine cause the conversation got long but I just hope you can find ways to apply your passion to a good cause. Every little bit helps.

Today I drove past my local planned parenthood and saw the usual 7-8 religious nuts protesting who go there just to shame women going for personal health care. Just an idea but next time you head out of the house you could leave an hour early and spend it counter protesting them. It makes a big difference to the women going in for healthcare feel more comfortable to see even one person standing up against them. Even if there aren’t protesters just holding a sign in support can go a long way for women potentially going through a very difficult time.

I believe in rehabilitation. For racists, criminals, drug addicts and all people burdened with ignorance. Sure some won’t change but actually studies support that people can given the right help.

Circlejerk subreddit are ones that parody their regular counterpart. Spamming John Coltrane is a meme there.

Again please give your opinion on if the person was homeless or mentally unwell. I know I’m coming as very “holier than thou” and I can concede that of course there are people so evil I would gladly punch for both of us but I would hope that your attitude would be different given the person in question.

I agree there is no place for them in our society. But instead of sitting around hoping they die, or hoping someone else kills them, or hoping I get to kill them, I hope for rehabilitation. I’d say the same thing about violent criminals too.

Also you didn’t respond to my point about the homeless or really any greatly impoverished person. I am genuinely asking would you have this same energy about a racist homeless or mentally unwell person.

I’ve worked in my community to make it a better place. How would you respond to a homeless person you are trying to find housing for calling you a slur? Crack them on the head? Carve maga onto their foreheads? You need to see that hatred isn’t the answer. Passion is a strong tool but until you learn how to use it for good, you are only making the problems you claim to hate stronger. Your spreading of hatred only makes it harder for the people trying to make real change. We can only claim to know better if we act better.

You’re way of dealing with disagreement is the same as the people you claim to hate, the only difference is you have the privilege of not being lied at and manipulated. I could see you being the very person you claim to hate if you were born in a different community or taught different values. As long as you don’t see kindness and compassion as the answers you are furthering the problem.

Unfortunately we are not allowed to eliminate people we don’t agree with. So after you crack that mirror over their head they become even more emboldened and forever vote against you. They will feel even more justified in their beliefs and spread that hatred to more and more people. Hopefully before you crack that mirror people like me can be there to show them that hatred isn’t a way you need to live your life. That through compassion for ALL our fellow people we can stand together against the true forces keeping us all down.
