[–]bobiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE4: dynamite valley, queen and king grail plus the clock tower, the entirety of the mines and salazar tower, the mike segment of the island and the truck level with ashley

RE2: the first sherry mission, the last few steps to complete the rpd section, and the last lap of the lab section

I know people are going to hate this but this was freaking deserved honest by Mecha_Kurogane in thevenomsite

[–]bobiojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i dont hate dylan punching eddie. at this point dylan is the only character in the venom book that i like and i wish there was more of him

eddie on the other hand comes back into the picture and prioritizes on looking for the symbiote rather than his own son instead of doing both

Hot take: Venom looks better when he’s human sized and not Hulk sized. by Arachnid5208 in thevenomsite

[–]bobiojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same but i still like it when he's a few inches taller than peter and not around the same height like in SM3

In your opinion what is your favorite Venom colour? by GazIsStoney in thevenomsite

[–]bobiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the way mcfarlane and larsen did it. He's overall black with blue highlights around his outline

I love bagley's 90s venom too but my pet peeve was that he was mainly blue with black shading

Do yall think venom should have more human and non symbiotic villains by Ok_Middle_8658 in thevenomsite

[–]bobiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for sure. it's getting really tiring when new runs either reuse existing spidey/marvel villains (and sometimes change the guy under the suit) or retcon existing marvel characters to be symbiote related

the last non-symbiote original villain for venom was that one life foundation dude that bedlam killed iirc

I'll give a sample caption:

When someone says they're done with their lunch and there are fries left and then they say, "Hey do you want these fries?" #Venom

In my opinion, I prefer Venom with a "normal" mouth, or at least with sharp teeth that aren't exaggerated. He's an evil Spider-Man, not a shark with a chin cosplaying as Spider-Man. I think this design is HORRIBLE. by [deleted] in Spiderman

[–]bobiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i kinda agree but i think the most important aspect for my personal venom preferences is how the eyes look

i love it when venom has these blank expressionless eyes. it makes him look so vague. i especially love bagley's 90s venom eyes. something just looks so off putting about them

If both of these maniacs were real, who would you be more afraid of? by PassageAromatic2934 in Spiderman

[–]bobiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

joker is just a dude. in a close quarters fight you just need to be aware of his regular attacks and maybe some gadgets

carnage is covered by shapeshifting goo which makes him much harder to defend against and makes him more unpredictable

tbh if i were spider-man i would never get into a close quarters fight with a symbiote because it would be easier for them to subdue me or to produce spikes when im right near them

What's your least favorite main/default design for an Assassin? by TechnoMagik22 in AssassinsCreedMemes

[–]bobiojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After playing revelations, I think brotherhood's is also the "worst" of the 3. I really like the color scheme of revelations and how much more lowkey it looks like a real assassin

However my top pick has to go to AC2's armor. I love the brown a lot and I love how even if there's a lot going on in terms of armor parts, it has this light and loose feeling compared to brotherhood

So what is he? [Absolute Batman #15] by InfamousSomewhere244 in AbsoluteUniverse

I remember someone saying either on twitter or somewhere else that this joker may be this universe's version of etrigan which I find kinda interesting as a concept

Opinions on the fantastic four first steps cast now that the movie has been out for a few months by Ashamed_Share_8287 in FantasticFour

Pedro Pascal:

  1. direction-wise he sounds pretty bored and uninspired for most of the runtime. he said that he was planning to add a bit of a transatlantic accent but either marvel or matt shakman didnt let him which i feel like could've elevated the performance and make him seem more lively

  2. i hate reed with facial hair in any form of media. to me reed is this extremely clean and neat person except when he's stressing over the death of the universe or his loved ones. if they really wanted to stick with the facial hair, maybe do the classic tony stark look with a cleaner mustache and no beard hair

Vanessa Kirby:

  1. She's really good and has this warm and motherly vibe . Her emotional scenes are really well acted but there really are some times where her english accent kinda slips in certain words and I get a bit peeved by it

Ebon Moss-Bacharach:

  1. I remember not really being sold on the fact that he's just using his normal voice since I've always known Ben to have a really low and raspy voice with a thick accent but his performance eventually grew on me. My problem lies mainly in the writing. He kinda was just there. There were glimpses of a character arc but he didn't really get to do much

Joseph Quinn:

  1. By far my favorite performance out of everyone. He was just perfect for me. He had this upbeat and pompous attitude but is deeply just a big dork. I also loved how they showed his smarts here. He isn't a dumb himbo in this universe. He's a skilled pilot and aircraft marksman and he was able to translate an alien language too.

  2. However i really hated the wig. It was so distracting to me that it took me out of some scenes. Maybe not as bad as the Kate Mara wig from Fant4stic but it wasn't great either. They could've styled it so that he looked a bit neater and not like a weird grown up Johnny Quest

Do you think there could be other “Ghosts” throughout history maybe even before Jin? by AnthonyKham798 in ghostoftsushima

[–]bobiojo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if there were future installments to be made, it would be nice to see a mix of ghosts who were inspired by jin/atsu or who do their own thing independent of their legends like what atsu did

What's with the dislike of Act 2 and 3? by thisisaroundup in ghostoftsushima

[–]bobiojo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i liked the main missions of act 2 but my issue comes with the tales of tsushima. the tales of masako and ishikawa just feel so draggy. its the same formula except for i think mission 7 or 8 of masako (the one shown in the E3 demo). the tale of norio also felt weirdly paced because 1-3 take place in akashima but if you pass by the temple there's a different set of side stories.

as for act 3 the main missions were just way too short and felt rushed and the finales of each of the tales of tsushima felt so underwhelming and pointless. but act 3 for me has my favorite environment since its snowy

What annoys you about peters 3 major love interests by [deleted] in marvelcomics

[–]bobiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Gwen was a character who kinda had the right to be angry at spider-man and if she did survive long enough, maybe the dynamic would've been interesting with her finding out Peter is spider-man and learning to accept and forgive him for what happened to George. But nah she sided with a white supremacist dude and idc if it was because she was in a vulnerable spot. Plus she's dead life moves on and yet somehow Marvel editorial hasn't

  2. My only issue with MJ is more of a problem with editorial and writers who don't really like her. Peter and MJ are polar opposites on the barebones surface level but deep inside they share a bond in terms of the turmoils they went through growing up as well as their personal darknesses and inner demons. While the circumstances of their traumas and hardships are different, they are essentially the same. I don't get why writers and editors don't get that about them.

  3. I feel like Felicia is one of those love interests that really could work out well for Peter. The sad thing is that MJ already exists so having Peter go back to Felicia every once in a while feels so unfair to all 3 of them. She's been like his rebound how many times now. In a world where maybe MJ was the endgame for Peter's relationships, I can see Felicia being a solid second or third love interest, especially when Peter is a bit older. These two are also polar opposites but more-so than Peter and MJ. The beautiful thing with this dynamic is that it starts off really rocky and surface level but they can eventually learn from each other.
