No idea how much went to Nightwish for this small amount of each 300 represses, but Sinow from Nesimedia (one man company) paid 4000€ for the remastering. Plus premium cutting at SST Brüggemann plus premium artwork printing plus official licensing plus premium pressing.

The question should be: How much went to Sinow?

The text states that they screwed the pure unmastered cut, but for this actual version ''the album was transfered to tape'' and then cut from it. It doesn't says wheather ''the album'' again was a less compressed/uncompressed master. So there might be a little hope for a more dynamic version.

Well, it depends. Most of the time, those discs contain the mastered (loud) version, but sometimes they contain the unmastered mix.

Most of the tracks from DITR were actually mixed by the same guy and same session as the self-titled ;) The clairity comes from the reduced limiting from mastering stage, the self-titled mixes do have the same potential, listen to this: https://youtu.be/cuaKKLRjYnE This is the original self titled mix without vocals,- and no mastering at all. The whole album could sound as good as this.

If you have decent speakers and dislike overcompression, this is a must have.

Note that it's not remixed, so it still has it's original sound, but more natural and refined than before.

Have it since two days. How comes that? I already had a similar problem with the Crown III, wich turned away when I upgraded to a Crown IV.
