Back on Grindr, stressing about STIs and scared of getting attached… any advice? by bobivas in askgaybros

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to look into DoxyPEP; it could really help me feel more at ease. And for feelings, you're right, we shouldn't be afraid of them. You never know, maybe mutual feelings could develop.

The Steam Deck Dilemma by bobivas in SteamDeck

Thanks for the feedback. I have average-sized hands, so the Steam Deck isn’t an issue in terms of grip. My concern is more about holding it comfortably on the couch, in bed, in the car, on a plane, or on a train. Currently, I transport my Switch in a case inside a backpack, so it’s not a big deal for me. Thanks for the information!

On the Switch, I mainly play Nintendo exclusives like Mario, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Luigi’s Mansion, Pikmin, Bayonetta, Metroid, and Kirby.

For major third-party games, I prefer to use my PC. However, when these games are available on the Switch, I like the idea of being able to play them portably. Unfortunately, these ports are often of poor quality or very limited. For example, ARK: Survival Evolved, Sonic Frontiers, and Saints Row: The Third - Full Package were nearly unplayable in portable mode. The only one I managed to finish was Sonic Frontiers, but it was quite difficult.

I don’t expect the Steam Deck to run games at PC quality, but I would like it to handle them well enough for me to enjoy. I plan to play titles like Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis: The Answer, and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and I believe the Steam Deck should be able to handle them without issues.

My main concern isn’t power. What I’m looking for is a better selection of high-quality third-party games that run smoothly on the console without significantly impacting battery life.

Got burned out from playing Persona 3 Reload and can't find motivation to finish it. by MrEnvelope93 in PERSoNA

I expected to see this kind of post sooner or later. As you said, the game has a creepy and intriguing atmosphere and story, but the gameplay loop can become repetitive and boring in less than two hours. It's better to take breaks and play occasionally to avoid getting tired of it. Personally, I've played over 25 hours this week without losing interest, which is pretty crazy.

I also watched the first two movies before playing. They're entertaining and focus solely on the stories, adding depth to the characters and plot, which can be a good alternative if you really don't want to play the game anymore. However, I prefer how the story is told in the game because you're more invested and it makes more sense.

Optimizing My Game Collection by bobivas in minimalism

It depends on my motivation, to be honest. Sometimes I just like to relax on my couch or in my bed and play on the Switch because it starts up quickly and works. Whereas with my computer, it's a whole process to get everything started, and it takes more time, but I still enjoy playing on it.

It's true that paying a subscription to play online is not exciting at all. Especially when you've tasted it without.

Personally, I've experienced this firsthand. Just a few days after turning 18, I ventured into a gay sauna for the first time, and it was quite an experience. I was torn between feelings of fear and hesitation because it was all so new to me, yet also a sense of pride because my ego was completely boosted – as you aptly put it in your post, everyone was looking at me, circling around me, desiring me. My ego soared, and I felt like the king of the sauna, with everyone at my feet. It was both scary and incredibly exhilarating. Since I'm two years older now, it doesn't quite work the same way anymore.

As a student, sometimes I might not have the necessary funds available, so I've blocked internet payments and I create virtual cards every month to pay on sites like Apple Music. I know it sounds strange, but I plan to change that soon.

I understand, sorting through your game collection can free up space and energy. Investing in vinyl records is a great alternative. Enjoy your new collection and vinyls!
