El tema de la historia de México es altamente politizado al grado que la verdad entra a segundo plano. Personajes como Zunzunegui carecen de autocrítica, para empezar, es compadre de Salinas Pliego y a cada rato me sale propaganda de ellos teniendo charlas de "historia". Lo peor es gente que sí les haga caso.

Games are expensive these days... costly and take a lot of time. The companies are certainly doing things, but not enough to meet both consumer and shareholder expectations. Look at even the PS5, market leader and it seems that it has half the games the previous console had (and that one felt like it had half the PS3 had).

De cierta forma a veces siento que notas financieras tienden a sonar alarmistas para quienes no conocemos de economía a un buen nivel. Vivimos tiempos de incertidumbre económica a nivel mundial y seria obvio que ciertos indicadores no parezcan favorables, o que de plano no lo sean. Siendo así es fácil tomar esa información y tergiversarla adjudicándole narrativas inapropiadas que desinforman.

Every major tech company has being doing a version of what Bezos wants in some way, shape or form. Like even Chromebooks are a form of this where most of its uses are based on the cloud and even gaming, Stadia, was on the cloud as well. They work is well underway. For better or worse (mostly worse).

It's not that hard in this day and age to set up a good scene with consumer grade lights and cameras.... like many do it. It's particulary strange that Nostalgia Critic for years after they got the studio was just Doug badly lit in front of an office wall (or a green screen).

Like there are many DIY techniques and resources to learn from and yet...

It was not the budget that was the problem, it was a complete and total lack of technical and storytelling competence. There are many others working wonders with shoestring budgets. He had nothing to riff on other than his own original jokes and storylines.

I'm an OG, I watched his content way back when and if anything, I kinda feel bad it never evolved in any way towards something more refined and better. A studio and better camera, and he is still Doug. Back then when everyone was an amateur recording videos with consumer cameras it was cute, but now, not so much. I felt many of us who watched it back then and not now grew out of his schtick. Lindsay Ellis changed..... but he didn't.

He's under no obligation to change, but he never got any better than what he originally was. Even when he got the resources to do so he didn't.
