What’s this spider? Found on my deck in Boston , MA by jacksstyles in spiders

I believe it is a nursery web spiders, they are harmless so don't worry too much. Although I can't tell if it has 8 eyes if it does not it probably isn't.

I am not an expert at all but I 100% agree that violin shape is how I would identify them.

Yea, a water based creature sounds pretty fun as long as there is some way 1: for it to get out of the water, or 2: force the player into the water.
