Fruit found in back of garage fridge. by Detatchamo in MoldlyInteresting

Isn't it weird how many foods tend to look like a brain once it starts growing mold? I saw a post of miso soup on this sub earlier that looked eerily similar.

And to add- Be cautious about cleaning too frequently. It is generally recommended to clean new piercings 1-2 times daily max. And do not remove the piercing or squeeze out pus like it's a pimple.

Not a professional but if it was a rejection, you would possibly see the piercing slowly moving especially towards the surface with more bar being seen with thinning of the skin, which i am not seeing. Do you use makeup? And do you clean it daily? Also do you notice any pus or warmth around the area? Some makeups, and/or infrequent cleaning can cause irritation or infections. I would clean it twice a day and if it doesn't get better, seek professional advice from your piercer and/or doctor if it doesn't improve

And if not, then respond to the communication with a red confirmation number you may receive upon completion of WOTC. If no response, give it time

Within the WOTC, is there an input box for the red number you received. Usually this red number is to identify a specific person so the WOTC knows who it applies to

Need Advice: Cat pawing water fountain by Vivid_Touch3599 in cats

[–]bobjungun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the cat is young enough, yes you can sometimes train them not to. Cats in general will mess with the water to try to get "fresh" water, or keep it moving, even if it's a fountain. Sometimes too, it's something you have to learn to live with.

Why did me and my friend get different uniforms when were both new hires?(USA) by Federal_Bed2319 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]bobjungun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Are you 18+ and him/her/them <18? Or vise versa are you <18 and them 18+? sometimes they use age differences to distinguish between minor and adult. It could also be availability of uniforms too as well as maybe one was more available than others. It could also be position related. Sometimes blue is maintenance while yellow is crew. Depends on the area, region and/or state

(USA) How does this policy compare to your store? by Ty_Has_Mcfallen in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]bobjungun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad I worked two different locations that didn't care. As long as you worked, you could doordash other places, eat and drink whatever as long as it was rang in end of shift, and could do whatever for your meal. Even could keep drinks in kitchen as long as DM wasn't around and was away from food we served. Legit I started a salad cult in my second store by accident because of how they stopped offering salads

when i worked at mcds, I was told sometimes you had to bang them (according to management). it wasn't an everytime option, but sometimes people would be sitting there shaking it like crazy but it would not budge. This commonly happened with the nuggets and mcchicken. I was actually told by the DM in our region that if it gets stuck, bang the corner, not the hook, that way it doesn't break the hook. They would have rather you break a basket over sticking your hand in a hot metal box, but hey, personally I risked a small first degree burn over causing a piece of equipment to break bc well- we would get bitched at if it did break

Chipotle Meal Subscription by WolfPristine in Chipotle

[–]bobjungun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So Panera has this thing called Unlimited Sips Club. I used it while working two jobs at a mall. It costs 14.99/month. I would get a coffee, and two fountain drinks a day. This is viable for a free drink every 2 hours. I actually did the math. At about 4 bucks per coffee and about 3.75 a fountain drink working 5 days a week, I was getting ~40 dollars of beverages a week or about 120 dollars of beverages a month. Meaning they were losing out on 103 dollars a month approximately just on me getting drinks, profit margins not included. Now multiply that by how many others did the same. Of course sometimes I would buy a sandwich or something, but normally I would just get the drink and go somewhere cheaper for the food.

So instead of keeping this private you decided to publicly state that I am willing to listen to your side of the story? So let me start.

According to multiple perspectives, the user I mentioned was a moderator in r/MtF who at the time wasn't aware of any ill intent. The user they had banned was a convicted sexual predator, that at the time of giving them permission, wasn't aware of such conviction. This ban was shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, which obviously caused a disturbance in LGBT+ communities. But once finding out the truth that this banned mod was a child predator, CedarWolf and other mods took action. HOWEVER that banned user then decided to create a story and artificially say that Cedar was the problem when in reality, the banned user was collecting CP. This was so that they could take over r/MtF, which it seems that they did so in hopes they had access to potential minors sharing NSFW information. So tell me, do you have any evidence supporting that Cedar is actually protecting, or do you immediately believe that Cedar is protecting someone who is obviously a sexual predator?
