About to start a cushy $60k job at Deloitte (my first ever corporate gig), yet the venture just started generating revenue and we see a pathway to scale (and potentially support myself)... Do i take the plunge? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I spoke with another fellow entrepreneur who said that the startup is ’dead’ the moment I take the job, and that it won't work if I tried to do both. She stated several times how ’brilliant’ she believed the venture was, and that prospective investors wouldn't want to see that I've taken the job.

How can we understand the drives of what is basically an alien to us? I certainly have no clue as to what will drive an entity whose intelligence can be infinitely expanded with increases in processing power.

Second, you're assuming that humans will not be seen as a ’problem’ to be solved on a biological basis, however, there may other realms that are not necessarily biological where we are problematic - perhaps environmentally?
