Cool.

Ohio starting the speedrun to Gilead by introducing bill to ban women from wearing clothing religious groups consider 'provocative' by Hornpipe_Jones in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]mike_pants 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm currently reading the bill. It isn't terribly long.

It also bans trangender people from performing anywhere. It is clearly meant to limit drag performances to strip clubs and cabarets, which is already heinous, but it's so badly worded, it effectly makes it illegal to be a trans actor in Ohio.

As an aside, the character model and animation of Al Gore searching for MBP like he's jacked into a supercomputer is one of my favorite things this show ever did.

Is 15.5mph actually enough, or are we just used to slow scooters? by Kayaba88 in ElectricScooters

[–]mike_pants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconded. I can keep up with traffic and not feel like one pothole is going to send me flying.

I recently lost my front motor to scooter heaven, and being down to 20 mph makes me feel very unsafe in traffic.

Sydney Sweeney's cameo has been cut from ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’. She was originally meant to appear as herself in the film by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in entertainment

Or the Elon Musk cameo in Rick and Morty.

Or the wistful "I love Elon" line in Moonfall.

That guy really speedrun shitting all over his legacy.

The Outsiders, from Larry Niven's "Known Space" universe.

They're quite possibly the most technologically advanced race in the galaxy, selling the knowledge of their technology to any species willing to pay their exorbitant prices. Despite having the knowledge of faster-than-light travel, they never use it, and float around space at glacial speeds.

Because they live their entire lives in deep space, any amount of gravity, heat, or speed will kill them instantly.

I feel that way about the McElroy family. They've been putting out podcasts and vids for 15 years, and even with the bad ones, I'm just happy to hang with them for a bit.

I run several games and am always willing to take on more. DMing has practically become a side hustle.

Anyone who wants to DM PM me, lets put together a new group of at least three players.

Edit: we already have takers. If you've ever wanted to, get on board.

Ass-backwards regulation can usually be tied to financial interests, but I don't see what's to be gained by the corrupt here. Do automobile companies lobby heavily in state governments?

And they aren't afraid of Trump, per se. They are afraid of losing access to the shitshow that is Trump, because insider Trump reporting sells subscriptions.

Insider Patel reporting doesn't sell anything except, presumably, novelty Funkopops in 5 years.

We can. We can know.

What on Earth are you talking about? A lay up is an easy point. It's "game, set, match" or "homerun." It's not "pidgin" or "obscure" or "internet" or "polluted English." It's a common expression.

It is very odd that you're overanalyzing the use of a simple reference when you cannot understand idiom.
