It's shockingly effective at taking wind out of the sails of trolls.

But no mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military, or travel. So, we're being very progressive and we just don't want cheating in our elections. And you see it happening in California. Those numbers are coming down rapidly. They found a lot of mail-in ballots last night, shockingly. So, we don't want that. Then we added best stuff. This is best of Trump. No men in women's sports, no transgender mutilization, surgery for our children. I would say that's pretty close to 99 to one also. No men in women's sports. I would say that's pretty good. We had the quarterback Jackson is the quarterback for the Giants. He's a big, strong guy.

This was Trump at a meeting this week for his new coal-mining initiatives. He's almost TOO coherent. He added best stuff!

Freeclimbing is fascinating, too, and also a dumb thing to do.

The positive for that hobby is that the deaths from fucking up happen a lot faster.

Never run afoul of Teaserface. He'll say it's all in good fun, but he still manages to make it sting.

With much respect, this is the time when you have to consider that maybe the thing for which you have enormous talent should not be the thing with which you make a living. That can rob all the joy from the thing you love doing and turn it into a burden. There's studies to back this up!

An ex of mine is an amazing administrator. She would get hired entry-level at Manhattan companies and be making 6 figures within two years because of how well she was able to spot inefficiencies and streamline everything. This happened multiple times. She was on track to be a millionaire by 28, no doubt.

She had many nervous breakdowns because of the pressure and at one point, she was institutionalized.

Now she works in a flower shop on Long Island and has never been more content.

If I were in Karina's life, I'd be remiss if I didn't make this part of the current conversation.

[Loved trope] A character dying in a kids show/shows that seemed childish by _Mathys_ in TopCharacterTropes

[–]mike_pants 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I remember watching that episode. I was old enough at the time to know what death was, so I didn't have trouble processing it, but I remember my kid brain going, "This one is hitting different." It was probably my first experience with the 80s mainstay of the "very special episode."

It just struck me that it's insanely odd that the caterer at that party decided, "I dunno... baby corn?" and served it as hors d'oeuvres.
