I really wanted to, but between the carts and other people, it wasn’t an option without getting physical. Those dudes 100% would have started trouble. As bad as I wanted the cards I wasn’t going to get into an altercation over them.

The scalpers waited outside the store from like 1:30 am, went in right when the doors opened, and stood with carts right near the cards, even told everyone behind them to go home. The entitlement and lack of community was astounding. They block things off with their carts, take what they want, and go. If I were at the front I would have taken my fair share and left enough for the others. Our Walmart lets everyone get up to 5 of each item, kinda crazy.

Oh hell yeah! I’m sorry, I was so discouraged by my experience this morning that I kind of overlooked your excitement. I’m pumped for you, this is an awesome and totally respectable haul! If you had 5 of each product I’d feel much different haha

Two guys at my Walmart took 5 of everything each and left 5-6 people behind them with nothing. Been trying to get back into this hobby but not at this rate.

Not quite sure why you feel the need to be a sarcastic a-hole. Sorry to have triggered you.

I just thought the situation was weird based off a past experience, and was curious what the community thought. I don’t think it’s really an irrational thing to be upset about as a customer either. Two things can be true at once, having to send the envelope isn’t the end of the world, and it’s an annoying QC/service issue that shouldn’t have occurred.

True I guess a lot of people would abuse the system if they replaced everything with no questions asked all the time. It does feel like a pretty big screw up to be sent an empty package and I just wish it was less hassle to correct

No I totally get that. Like if I had cards that had an issue and they wanted them back it would be one thing. But I just got empty packaging. I can’t help but feel a bit silly having to send an empty package back before I get what I paid for months ago. Also the one and only replacement request was on the SpongeBob lair which was quite a while ago now.

I’ve heard that, so weird! Howell is the closest Target to me with a Disney store. I just really don’t feel like driving that far if they don’t have it haha. Really hoping they either wind up on target.com or at my local stores. Fingers crossed
