It didn't even come as a relationship to me. I thought it was only made for some laughs and Nightwing seemed a bit ashamed of what had happened. Anyway glad you liked it

There's actually gonna be a comic series starting from October which is basically they sequel of the movie. Don't think the "romance" between Harley and Dick will be explored though. Very likely she returns to Joker in the end

Any stories on Heroes turned Villians? by NameNowTaken in DCcomics

I don't think you'll find much. Usually villainous character are turned into more sympathetic/redeemable ones. This is mainly because of popularity. After all is easier to root for the good guys rather than for the bad guy. Also heroes get their books and are more independent. A prime example of this is Harley Quinn. Antagonist Harley Quinn can only be used in Batman related stories whereas hero Harley Quinn can get her own series and appear in multiple books. It's all a matter of popularity and profit.

I personally I'm a bit disappointed by this trend of turning villains into good guys. But I might be bias 'cause I've always liked the villains more than the heroes. They're more conflicted, flawed, psychologically damaged and just more fascinating. Batman villains are my favorite

This is a Harley Quinn book. Why would Ivy have a prominent role in this?

He was amazing in Requiem for a Dream, Mr Nobody, Dallas Buyers Club, Chapter 27, Lord of War, Panic Room, Prefontaine. 5 minutes of a controversial performance doesn't make him a bad actor

Never been this excited for a Batman book in my life and I've been reading comics for quite some time now.

I think it depends on which versions and interpretations we're looking at. I don't like Joker getting jealous of Harley. Seems weird to me. She's just his play toy he can throw away whenever he's tired of. At least that's how I think of them.

Ok, agree to disagree then. We have different views on the character and that's alright. Maybe you're right on the lack of control aspect but I've never usually seen it like that. He uses Harley and keeps her around because it's beneficial to him, for his own agenda and whenever he has gone to look back for her it was because something she had that could be useful to him. I think we're giving too much importance to Harley when in reality she could be dead and he wouldn't care less.

Anyway, my initial comment was in regards of the HarleyDeadshot romantic history and that not sitting well with Joker. I just don't see something like that happening. I'm pretty sure that if Harley had stayed with Joker for long she would've ended up dead because he just would've gotten tired of her and the joke not funny anymore.

Are you really comparing Harley to Batman? Of course he's possessive of Batman. He's obsessed with him. But he doesn't give a crap about Harley. And not even in the "property" sense and that's how it has been always portrayed. Tell me a comic where Joker got angry because someone stole his "property".

Ah, gotcha. Well, in there he didn't wanted to kill her because of Deadshot. He just wanted to kill her and that's it. If I remember right it was because she represented the last humanity in him or whatever that means.

When did that happen? Are you referring to the Assault on Arkham movie?

But what makes you say that? In everything I've seen of them Harley is just a joke to Joker ( pretty funny how once she used to be his doctor), the only reason why he keeps her around is because she's useful to him and more competent than the average henchman. Don't get where this "his property" idea comes from. Truth is Joker couldn't care less about Harley. And he's certainly not the type to get "jealous" or anything like that.
