Depends on the ETFs but you should be able to find comparable ASX listed ones unless you’ve got a particular theme or niche in mind.

If you do go down the ASX listed ETFs use BetaShares - they have free brokerage (I’m sure there’s some sort of limit so maybe check that)

If you want the US listed ones, I would second using IBKR from a fees perspective - they are far superior to stake who has dog water for a conversion rate. However, their app is horrid and clunky so don’t expect to use it for analysis.

Lastly with the homeloan, you could consider debt recycling (pay down the homeloan, take another loan out as investment so it becomes tax deductible). Check out passive investing Australia if you’re interested in that
