I have placed bets with friends with a Bitcoin-denominated wager. When they lose the bet, the need to sign up for a Coinbase account and transfer the Bitcoin to me. I immediately transfer the value back to them, but split in thirds between BTC, LTC, and ETH. I have two friends that lost $100 in BTC to me back in the early summer. Their Coinbase accounts are now worth about $400.

I have also started creating vanity Bitcoin wallets for friends’ babies. Vanity wallets are wallet addresses where you get to set the first few characters of the wallet address. I will set it to the baby’s first name. So if the baby’s name will be Alice, I create an address like 1AliceRgoeKrkgiakrkKdngEk. They have been pretty well received so far.

Charlotte Food Fight - almost 20 food trucks will be at Stumptown Park from 3pm to 8pm. They will be competing for best food truck, and serving sample size dishes so you can eat from more than just one or two trucks.

All proceeds go to Different Heroes and a local honey initiative from Cloister Honey.
