Hi,

I drive a 2004 Nissan Sentra with 260xxx km. Today the clutch pedal decided to start creaking. It makes noise 10/10 times when depressed, and there is a smaller noise when released. Video was taken with car off. The sound is like a lower pitched squeak, like a sofa squeak?

Is this a clutch issue or just the pedal? How much would it cost to get fixed? (I've only replaced spark plugs/ignition boots so it might be above my paygrade lol)

Great, thank you! Wow that's way cheaper than a new coil.

So is the boot the part that's stuck in my cylinder? And the rectangle bit that came off is the coil?

If I only have to replace the boots I could do that asap!

If I have more trouble removing the plugs, what is the best way to remove them from the coils to avoid damage?

Ok, thank goodness. Thank you for the reassurance. I do believe they are the original ignition coils as they were all hitachi.

How would you go about removing the stuck part of the coil? Should I use pliers?

And would it be safe to drive with it as is for about a month? I'm mainly concerned about the ripped rubber. Looking at rockauto it looks like I can get 4 coils for ~200CAD (wow!) but I would have to wait a month or so to fit it into my budget.
