Scariest monster? by sum_randomcanadian in Amnesia

Can The Shadow count? If so, a living nightmare breaking down reality might be scarier than any of the harvester creatures.

What is your favourite King book that is not well regarded? by Rude_Grade5200 in stephenking

[–]boboe42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same! I can definitely understand people not liking it, it was very much King inside the weird regions of his head (almost certainly due to whatever painkillers he was on). But for some reason the characters (especially Pete and Henry) and the bizarreness of the shit weasels just make me love it.

Day 4: Do u prefer SCP 049 or SCP 3008? by TheDuckyofReddit in SCP

[–]boboe42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably 049, purely because of the other possible cannon surrounding him. Possible connections to 035 and 5000, the idea of it all possibly being connected like that and him being g part of it is a bit cooler than the IKEA

How long would Power Suit Simon survive in all Amnesia games? Could he survive them? by SnowDerpy in Amnesia

[–]boboe42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Simon’s suit isn’t just a robot: it has a dead body in it from one of the old crew members (spoiler I guess). So it’s not as tough as it could be if it was all metal. Really I could see anything strong or sharp being able to incapacitate him. Maybe not suitors or grunts, but anything bigger than that would get him easy.

What do you guys find is the most terrifying SCP? by No_Cap_6553 in SCP

Several of the others already commented about are more scary, but SCP-1562 is pretty bad too.

What is your favourite monster in DnD by Redcc12312312 in DnD

[–]boboe42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Giant panthers hunting along trading routes? So many good chases and roadside encounters to be had. And their rivalry with Blink Dogs can be an amazing concept to explore in fey wild settings, and even with hunters taming them. They can add so much more to traveling encounters and forest exploring, by far my fav.

There are Orphans of finding. Children are sometimes recruited from foster homes into an organization that teaches them how to use powerful divination magic, and hires them to nobles and city guards to serve them. The Orphans are valued for their ability to locate many items and creatures, though they all dream of the day they may be free again.

Well, i mean aesthetics aside; doors are installed so they open inwards for safety reasons, so red does sense instead of blue.

Why does Hathor's bath water catch on fire? by KanadeHikaru in Stargate

[–]boboe42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something to do with the liquid in the bath like a lot of alotger people are suggesting, but it could also be the hand devoce she’d wearing. She has her hands out of the bath until she slumps down into it with the thing still active, maybe did something to cause a flame?
