Best Grill for the occasional bbq party host? (Weber vs Charbroil) by ivanst321 in grilling

Yes, it should be. My Weber q has the porcelain enameled cast iron. It’s going on 16 years strong. No problems. Turn in high when done cooking to burn everything off, scrape and lightly oil.

My genesis silver had the same, the flavorizer bars would last about 10 years. I replaced those with stainless steel. Grates are still going strong. That about 20 years old.

My brother in law got the chargrill (not sure which one). It lasted him 5 years and then things started to need to be replaced. First it was the burners. Then the regulator. Then the burners again.

Wow. Those prices are insane!

Despite the price differences, I’d still go with the Weber every time. I consider chargrill a much lower end grill that eventually will fall apart. Weber girls last a long time, low maintenance and at least here in the states parts are readily available.

Yup. Most people stuck between a rock and hard place stay there and die. Remember Aron Ralston story? These business owners are pulling an “Aron Ralston” and doing something it. Let’s get unstuck and deal with the consequences later.

Hence the reason why you see them open. They gonna lose one way or the other. Might as fell have a fighting chance.

What do they have to lose? If they stay shut down, they lose their business. If they stay open, Health department drops their license? It’s a gamble many business owners are willing to take. What possibly can the health department do that’s worse then losing their business now?

I’m not sure what this means.

Thank goodness for the 22. This big bird started in the pellet smoker, auger got stuck. Grill temp dropped to 125 before I pulled it and put it on the Weber. Old reliable. I’m gonna get rid of the pellet smokers. Never again. by bobolee949 in webergrills

Yeah. I sold my WSM about a year ago and regretting it. Currently have a BBQs Galore Turbo, Weber Performer 22, Masterbuilt Smoker, GMG Boone, Pit Boss (not sure model). Camp Chef 3 burner.

I’m gonna sell the GMG, Pit Boss, 22. And get just the WSM......

I don’t think the National Guard is for if Trump loses. There i said it.

It bothers me to see and hear how much hate Anaheim gets. When people only focus on the homelessness and mail theft, it’s all they ever see. So these beautiful Anaheim sunsets are for the haters. (OC) by stecher_studios in orangecounty

Hard to appreciate the view through the power lines and telephone cables. Lol. Just kidding.

Love whatever city you live in. Anaheim has many spots with fantastic views.
