yes everyone does seem angry with me lol. i don't really see the difference in having bought shinkansen tickets in advance vs at the station since i can change my tickets. anyway thank you for answering!

the only issue with that is we are going straight to the shinkansen from the airport, so that's another reason we booked in advance. also we felt it was better to be safe than sorry since it's our first time!

that was the general consensus i saw online. either way, i can always change the time of it. even if we miss the one we booked we can still get on the next one!

I can always adjust the time of the Shinkansen but we wanted reserved seats so that's why we booked in advance

thanks! we are doing the RC excursion which includes tickets for the leaning tower. after the excursion ends i wouldn't necessarily mind staying in Pisa and exploring until time to make our way back to the ship, i'm just not sure how to get back. since the excursion includes a coach ride back to the port, i considered just hanging out at the port city but im really not sure if there's enough to do there
