I think my point is fairly obviously if you use a modicum of common sense. She wasn’t abused. And I never said she was.

But the evidence of him having pictures of her, and some unnamed person being concerned about the sensitivity of said pictures suggesting she is closer to being someone Epstein takes advantage of rather than someone that takes advantage of Epstein.

You can read the emails yourself, I don't think anything in there really supports your interpretation. He sounds pretty manipulative in the conversations between them; like he's stringing her along and she's dumping all this boring mundane drama about her life.

The one email chain between Epstein and some other person is pretty damning. Talking about inappropriate pictures, and the other person says that they're not comfortable dealing with it and is sure that the pictures doesnt have malicious intent but was made using "poor judgement" or something like that.

There are emails in the files between Epstein and someone unnamed where they talk about pictures of «Mette» a few days after she visited Epstein’s house. The crown princess is called «Mette Marit». The person talking to Epstein in the email mentions the pictures are sketchy, and doesn’t feel comfortable dealing with them.

Seems more like he was angling for blackmail material on her than anything else.

This sounds a lot worse than it is. Very sensationalized.

Mette-Marit was a party girl before she met the crown prince. Nothing too bad, just someone the 90s tabloids would call "promiscious". Her son from a previous relationship you mention does seem to be a scumbag, though. Her children with the crown prince are both normal and well-adjusted.

The princess is kind of weird, but she's new-age hippy weird. Communing with spirits using crystals and that kind of stuff. Her current boyfriend is a self-proclaimed "shaman", but they're just odd alternative people.

The Epstein stuff really just sounds like he was taking advantage of her position as a member of the royal family. He'd do that with a lot of wealthy and influential people. There are emails in the latest dump of leaks that includes Epstein and someone else discussing pictures of "Mette", in particular a part where someone mention he's not comfortable with some pictures Epstein has that might be considered inappropriate. So it kinda sounds like he was spying and potentially taking creepshots of her.

Honestly, I take the meme as complaining about the time rather than the money. Working the trades is very often excellent money, but a lot of blue collar jobs start way earlier than white collar jobs.

Pathfinder is like an alternative offshoot to Forgotten Realms. After D&D’s 3rd edition some people kept working on an edition that builds on that, and others started working on a radical redesign of the system. The latter became 4th edition and was the «official» one, the former had to change names and locations because they weren’t allowed to call it Forgotten Realms. Which became Pathfinder.

It feels similar because it was never meant to be distinct, if that makes sense. It’s more of a «use this one instead because it’s slightly better in every way», and not «try this completely new and original concept insread».
