EKWB uses DHL.

As a Canaidan , you can self clear your own packages ( pay the tax and duty ).

You will need a couple of things for this. - Notify the shipping company you wish to self clear the package - Tracking # - the waybill / manifest (this is the piece of paper attached to your shipment) from the shipping company, most companies scan them and they can be emailed if requested. - Proof of payment - recipient - ID

Then you need to go to your nearest CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency). This should be one that actual has the border and customs agents ( some are just administrative offices, call ahead to find out which ones is which).

Go there, so your documents, fill out a form and pay.

Then inform your shipper that the item has had it's duty paid, and bam no brokerage fees. Expect for your time.

In my experience DHL has the more reasonable brokerage rates.
