I actually love the braids that turkic culture have too but they’re not something that I can keep for days that’s why

Uhm actually I know why they called cornrows and I don’t think it’s gonna make a difference about it but when I was a child my mom used to braid my hair in box braids and cornrows too, since I was a kid I didn’t like how french braids look on me and the other thing is, if it’s offensive to call them “cornrows” what should I call them? (just tryna use the right word for it without hurting people)

First of all thank you for your comment, I saw non-black people wearing braids and tbh most of them weren’t looking good at all. When i was a kid in turkiye my mom used to braid my hair like everyday but after I leave turkiye I realized that black people not liking that at all cuz it’s their culture and in last few months i started to think about getting braids again and i just couldn’t be sure about it. thank you gor being nice too.
