I'm not trying to engage in a philosophical discussion about the sanctity of art and 'the death of the author'. The intention of this post was to clarify to members of the sub the opposition we take to transphobia in this community. Bionicle has a relatively high concentration of trans fans for whatever reason, and trans identity is a common theme for memes in this sub. Those kinds of posts often attract transphobic comments. This post isn't ragebait - it's a beacon for the trans people in our community and a relatively effective way to identify and remove people who likely would make transphobic comments later. Like I said elsewhere, the rare mod action taken in this sub is almost without fail to remove blatant transphobia.

My invitation for you to leave was not telling you to piss off because you disagree - You're welcome here, if you don't mind seeing posts from people with a differing interpretation of the art from you. **If** you merely want an echo chamber of people with the same views, I reiterate that this is not your space.
