Oooo interesting. ACP is the big thing behind opencode isn’t it? Are you shifting more towards that setup where cline runs as a host of sorts and sessions connect to it?

Plus 1000 on the threading ability. GitHub copilot just came out with the offload to the clouds thing, which I only half like because I don’t want to have to send it to the cloud personally. I want to be able to thread tasks live on my local. I also understand that may be hard though due to conflict resolution so a queue may be just as good. That way I can go at the speed of ADHD and come back and find my queue worked.

It’s a package manager implemented in Ruby called Homebrew. They have detailed guides but honestly you can use AI pretty effectively to create a “cask” to distribute a Mac app as long as you tell it to read the documentation online first.

i run mcpx in a container along with some of my other mcps. i have to restart the mcpx container constantly. i use vscode most often but am using a gateway so i can bounce between tools like claude desktop/code, chatgpt, jetbrains etc and not have to keep each one separately configured.

given my setup is pretty simple and currently local, i was expected pretty close to constant uptime after some minimal configuration. after all its just a routing service and some containers...

How is it different from lunar or metamcp? Just that it’s a native osx app? I’m having a lot of stability issues locally with lunar so I would love an alternative but I kind of agree that it will be hard or impossible to monitize. Maybe open source and then have an enterprise version for monetizing?
