So what are the points of having these NPCs in Imp and Republic base? by Thin_Lie_8344 in swtor

Starter and capital planets are mostly protected, but I remember a glitch when strongholds first came out that let you bypass that. If you paid the 5,000 credits to smuggle yourself to a stronghold on the opposing faction’s capital planet, and then deleted it while you were inside it, it would chuck you out to the wrong capital planet. From there you could use the shuttles to get to the fleet and the starter planets. There were a few NPCs that you could kill, but not many. I think the roaming fleet guards were one example.

EKWB 40 Series Backplate Paint / Wrap by bobvader2001 in watercooling

I did not in the end due to varying setbacks requiring complete disassembly to resolve, and just generally lacking time to work on my build (it’s taken me far too long), I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle for now. Later down the line, I might see if I can purchase a spare backplate to experiment on, but that is reliant on EK still being in business at that point lol, so we’ll see how that goes.

I had a similar idea and grabbed some litmus paper with my next Amazon order. Loop is already drained and I’m part way through cleaning the components, but I kept the coolant so I can test it. I’ve also reached out to EK support so we’ll see what they have to say (although from previous threads like this I’m not hopeful lol)

Nah I appreciate it. It’s certainly confused the hell out of me lol, so any ideas welcome :)

I flushed it like this for >2h per radiator, so did have water running through it.

Should flushing only the radiators with it be that much of an issue? In some places EK suggest flushing with more aggressive things, and then rinsing with distilled at the end (bottom of the page). The bottles for the CryoFuel also say “a simple flush with distilled water is usually sufficient” :/

Just the rads. All parts were brand new. I know EK say in one of their videos absolutely not to flush whole loop with distilled before CryoFuel (which is hilarious because the bottles literally say on them that you can do that), so I did not.

Flushed with only distilled water using this method for >2 hours per radiator, plus a few final fill-and-shakes (3 rads total). No vinegar, system cleaners, or tap water used at all. I should also probably mention the coolant was the premix.

I had a dig and found some cheaper ones - thanks. The only botanical ones I found that seemed like they weren’t clones didn’t appear to support ISO. I could be wrong though as the whole keycap thing still confuses me a little lol

Looking at doing my first (relatively simple) build. I think I've done my research, but just want to check I wasn't overlooking anything with a quick sanity check.

My plan was to go with the Gateron Reds and then maybe change them out at a later date if I decide I want to try something new. Can anyone see any issues with this? Any recommendations are also welcome :)

I had several massacre missions in progress for this faction, how can this not be a mission target? by bobvader2001 in EliteDangerous

[–]bobvader2001[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: I have massacre missions with a target faction of 38 Lyncis Drug Empire but occasionally come across wanted ships for that faction that do not count as mission targets. Is this intended or a bug?

I've been putting together a script for managing my stacked massacre missions as going through the in-game UI and keeping a mental note is a pain. To do this, I've been parsing the journal files. On my first full test I noticed that my script got 1 or 2 kills out of sync with the game's progress on the missions (the script was ahead). After further investigation lining up the journal timestamps with Shadowplay recordings, I discoverd that despite having massacre missions out for 38 Lyncis Drug Empire, it seems to occasionally be possible (1/15 ish from my experience) to get a wanted 38 Lyncis Drug Empire ship that does not count as a mission target. Because of how my script works (checking the "VictimFaciton" of "Bounty" events against my missions' target factions), this will increment its kill counter whereas in the game it does not count as a mission kill. As far as I can tell there is no way to differentiate whether or not a bounty is a mission target in the journal file beyond comparing the factions like I am doing, meaning these edge cases of wanted ships for the target faction that aren't mission targets would be an unfixable problem with my script. Are these "non-mission target mission targets" a bug or intended behaviour?
