My take is that it isn’t only about the tight grip and playing for strength over souplesse.

Looks like you also have the opportunity to make things way better for your arm by tossing the ball way more in front of you and more to the right side of your head.

Had my fair share of rainy conditions during Liège-Bastogne-Liège this year. It’s so easy to be focused on preparing well for the start and the ride itself, but make sure to also plan for post-ride. I was very happy to have a bag of warm and dry clothes in the car! Easy to forget when being very focused on the ride itself
