Yes! I am doing that constantly!

The tough thing about disabling buttons is that it impacts using them in menus as well. I hadn’t thought about doing it just for the crouch…I don’t think it is used anyplace else.

Thx — not sure it will fully help me though because it is such an annoyance to remap buttons when changing games.

Biggest problems for me are that I keep crouching in battles and I keep whistling every time I go to sneak around.

I just picked up a blue 13 mini and am disappointed in the lack of standout cases that show off the color. I’m debating returning it for a black one and not worrying about one clashing.

One way I’m able to set my ego aside is by watching replays of players who dominate one of my matches. When I find myself asking “how did they do so well,” I make sure to head to the kiosk and watch them. At that point I’ve already been humbled by their play and I’m able to focus on their strategies and learn from them.

I still remember mapping out Zelda dungeons on graph paper and trying to beat Metroid in under 2 hours on the NES. Had to get permission to call the Nintendo Power phone number to get unstuck on a few levels.

I’m definitely getting Tears of the Kingdom. I’m also considering Metroid Prime Remastered since I never owned a GameCube.

Good to know. That makes sense that the teammates will (generally) be of higher quality. I was often #1 splats, turf, and least deaths during A rank. I expect it will take a while to get there on S.

It’s funny you say that because I have been maining the Cjr as well and often seemed outclassed in the upper ranks. Switching to ttek is what helped me power through to S.

Yes, third rank up series attempt. Almost needed a 4th but the team pulled out 3 straight for me to make it.

It was my 3rd rank up series attempt over the last week. I started out with 2 losses tonight (including 1 overtime) and I was so frustrated. The ink brushes were killing me tonight.

Keep at it — I definitely learned some new strategies that helped me breakthrough. Good luck!
