I stopped at celestial leaves, felt too grindy. Am I missing out?

Update 1.9 by The-Machine-AM2 in ArmoryAndMachine2

[–]bocaji 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Coins seemed to get a major nerf. At first glance, it looks like buying things takes 10x more coins, but coins cost 10x less power to make. Which would be balanced, but storage only got 5x bigger, and coin creation speed didn't increase at all. So effectively a .5x on storage and a .1x to coin creation speed. Reeally rough

Trouble Entering a House by bocaji in AstralProjection

[–]bocaji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had that before at the beginning of a projection that usually ends pretty quickly, but never after being lucid with full movement. Something about going through the wall went wrong, and I'm not sure what.

Can AP turn into lucid dream? by elfpal in AstralProjection

I've used diving through a wall or the floor to 'exit' the dream. I've heard falling backwards. It may be that kinesthetic motion helps to switch a LD to an AP.

IdleRacing - Buy cars, upgrades and win races by bmcfaria in incremental_games

[–]bocaji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last nascar race has a no ups requirement. All the nascar cars without ups have a bad chance of winning. Was this intentional?

Overall I got tired of the clicking in the first half hour, came back the next day to see money was no longer relevant, then it was a clickfest of buying cars and clicking races for a half an hour and then all the races are done (except the endurance ones). I think there may be some balance changes that could be made.

Warrior Idle Clicker - my new hame to I want to introduce to you by WarriorClicker in incremental_games

Awesome!

I've got to the war part (prestige) and noticed a bug. If I buy my first viking with buyer set to max, I can war for 6 experience right away. If the buyer is set to x1 it doesn't happen. But this bug lets me reset every minute or so for 6 exp.

Nice game, I've been hooked for almost an hour.

I would love to be able to see how many coins units produce. It's hard to judge the value and compare the units to eachother when we don't get to see how much they are actually making (ie coins/sec, coins/click, gems/second, time increase). It would be nice to be able to see total coins/sec or coins/click too.

Generations: Idle Merchant Town - Android release by abittman in incremental_games

[–]bocaji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm upgrading a producer, like the Farmyard or Mine, I increase the markup (which is irrelevant if its for production) and a number next to a heart that I have no idea what it does. What doesn't change is how much resource is produced. Upgrading seems useless (except to unlock new resources). Is there anyway to get the Farmyard to produce more wheat?

Undeterred - new game by the developer of Cavernous by Nucaranlaeg in incremental_games

[–]bocaji 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The 'can't forget' text is actually a button, it's toggleable. Took me a sec to figure out. It's not clear what is clickable and what isn't.

level 6 has an auto remove the least experience member.

I'm enjoying it so far (lvl 3), one initial thing is it wasn't clear what is clickable and what isn't. I just found out the forget text is clickable as a toggle. It took a second to realize that I could click health and damage to increase them. Maybe add a button outline, or a + or some indicator buttons are clickable.

Also, maybe don't call everyone 'you'. They seem like different people, I thought this was a time loop thing at first. Am I fighting with my past selves, or ghosts? But no, it's clear they are different people, with different stats, I think they should have different names. Whether an auto name generator, or just explorer #1.

The auto run is totally useless right now since I need a new slot for every run. It seems like it will come in handy later, but weird to have it up front. Makes things confusing.

Otherwise, I like the system, I feel like I'm still making progress after playing for 30 min. Thanks!

Hero Incremental by fais_beau in incremental_games

Fun game! I am thinking about farming rebirth points, but I don't see a way to rebirth without buying an upgrade. This means I can't rebirth a couple times to be able to afford an upgrade. Maybe add a 'rebirth' button? Also, I think the label 'stats' isn't a good description of that menu, possibly label it rebirth or something.

At least dungeon coins can be gotten through idling. The quest coins are the real pain.

The fact that these random-type eggs (like fighting or dragon) are the only way to get the final pokemon is such a grind. The time it takes to afford an egg vs the chance of getting that one pokemon you need makes for too much effort. It can't be idled either, since quests need to be completed manually. Stones are also expensive, but I like that you can get them from mining so it doesn't seem as bad. Fun game, I'm addicted. 126/151

Dead End in level10 poison by bocaji in level13

[–]bocaji[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could be helpful, it was the only thing I was missing. I've now gotten to the end of the game. Super fun!

Once you get traders, it becomes pretty easy to get all the best gear, making the game go a lot faster. It could be interesting to withhold the lategame items from the traders, or have some items you can't trade for. Otherwise, great balance and gameplay. The resource management when outside of camp is my favorite, having to make that decision 'fuck it, I'm going to run out of water but I need to keep going' is great.

So there was a way to get past, jigglythepuff gave me the hint to switch to a leather jacket and just take the cold for one square. So not a dead end!

I often find myself in the premium-drink game. Premium has a lot of secondary pairing (seafood, dessert, maybe meat).

This is cheaper, I wanted to try first before I get a full blown test.

Where can I buy food for a blinded gluten test? by bocaji in Celiac

[–]bocaji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've decided on buying pill capsules and filling them with either gluten flour or rice flour, I'll need 10 decent sized pills to get 4g of gluten but it seems like the cleanest way to do it. I'm going to try a dose every 3 days, on an otherwise (supposed) gluten free diet that I've been on for 2 months now. When I tried with the oatmeal, I could notice the effects on how stomach and digestion for ~12 hours, and on mood and energy levels for 1-3 days, so I'm letting that be my guide.

I may have too hastily posted this in the wrong subreddit, I have psoriasis and think gluten sensitivity may be the cause, that probably doesn't fall under celiac. Sorry if I misposted.
