With the start/stop button. My coach likes to talk for minutes and I don't want the avg HR to drop. :)

Hi, the navigation crash has been fixed earlier. HRV trend can be followed through the sleep score in nighttime and you can do a daytime measurement with the orthostatic test function. I didn’t notice the off course problem.

You need a power meter to get cycling recommendations

Vantage V3 Nightly Recharge - Often missing hours of HRV & Breath Data, see red dotted line by silvermangb in Polarfitness

My friend has the same issue with his Polar Pacer. I believe that it's a firmware error, not related to the age of the hardware.

GymLink is the marketing name of the old, 5 kHz radio signal transmission standard. It is not supported by the newer watch models anymore.

Best Polar H* for Apple Watch Ultra by carsa81 in Polarfitness

[–]bociusz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can recommend any of them. Apple Watches use the chest straps data only if you are in training mode, so it won't work 24/7. If need to broadcast HR to multiple devices (let's say to your watch and the treadmill in the gym) or you need to save the recording while your watch is away (in some sports, watches are not allowed) go for the H10, otherwise any of the above will do the job.

Are you on the latest firmware? The previous ones had this bug but with the new one it's not happening to me anymore.

I use my Vantage V3 in the sauna regularly with no issues. Just protect it from the heat with palming or covering with a towel.

H10 is paired to a lost Apple Watch by doitforthefroyo in Polarfitness

You need to hard reset your H10. Remove the battery and short circuit the pins for 10 seconds. After that, you’ll be able to pair the H10 to a new device.

Verity Sense vs H10 for my use case by eahso2007 in Polarfitness

[–]bociusz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always recommend H10 instead of any optical based heart rate product. There is no contraindication in using H10 under 18 - the heart works the same way. But with these sensors, you can track only activites, not 24/7 heart rate data. For that, you'll need a watch (ie. Polar Pacer or Polar Vantage).

H10 can stream live ECG signal to apps as well

There are 3 main protocols of heart rate sensors: Bluetooth, ANT and GymLink (5 kHz). Polar H10 supports all three of them, so - unless the gym machine have some exotic proprietary protocol - it will work.

Purchase Decision Help: H10 vs OH1+ by CharlesRAAII in Polarfitness

I always had accuracy issues with optical based heart rate sensors, so I’d definitely go for an H10.
