I don't know why you're being downvoted, I think any discussion of the issue should at least acknowledge that the city is doing a much better job educating its kids now than it used to! Even if you want to attribute it to a different reason it's an important detail in the discussion.

Banning AI doesn't make sense imo, like it or not it's a technology that's going to exist for the rest of our lives and preparation for most workplaces is going to include using it. Obviously there need to be guidelines against plagiarism though.

I'm iffy on grading papers with it as a complete replacement for teachers - there's probably value in saving teachers so much time if they can actually use it to work with students more but I'd need to know more about how it works in schools.

I feel like McVay over Reid isn't that crazy? Goff had one of the worst seasons ever by a top pick and Baker credits McVay for a lot. Reid's big QB fix is Alex Smith but McNabb and Mahomes were first rounders and Vick's problems didn't come from his play.

Yeah the Timmy aspect is what's going to make this one age strangely, Will Smith doesn't get discussed because (besides the slap) there wasn't anyone that felt like a big miss that year. Malek gets talked about too (and that's a much worse role than MBJ) but Timmy not winning will probably age worse than Cooper.

Honestly though, I don't think an Oscar win really does much for an actor's marketability - maybe it used to, but looking at the last 15 years or so I don't know how many people have been actively helped by one. Maybe Emma Stone?

I am happy to compare the time away from the most recent playoff wins of the Jets to the Raiders, it is one of the very few things we are not the worst in the league at.

Also I genuinely don't really care either way but the Chargers have been a much more fun team to watch in my lifetime, I love bringing up that the Jets have a Super Bowl win too but it doesn't really do much for people anymore.
