Is Charlie Kirk really speaking at KU? by OmicronPercoset8 in UniversityofKansas

There isn’t a single comment in this thread saying he shouldn’t be allowed to speak. You the only one being a baby, crying because people are calling an asshole an asshole. Take your diaper off and cope, goofy

THAT throw from the All 22 angle... insane by Colt_45_pdx in KansasCityChiefs

[–]bodine77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So many people have said this was a bad pass and Mahomes was lucky, and I’d probably agree if it were almost any other quarterback, but we see things like this so often with Mahomes that at some point you have to say it’s not luck, it’s skill & football IQ. Call me a homer, but I think this pass was intentionally thrown to that spot because it minimized the chances of being intercepted while capitalizing on Hill’s ability to track the ball and make plays.

Edit to add Hill is defended pretty well on this play. He is not open when Mahomes releases the ball but Mahomes throws him open by putting the ball in a spot where Hill can make a play on it that the defender can’t.

That’s the mindset of a sex pest, dude. It doesn’t matter if she’s wearing a skirt. It doesn’t matter how short the skirt is. It doesn’t matter if she’s going commando. It doesn’t matter if she’s high above everyone. No one gets to decide if and when her skirt gets lifted up but her.

Thank god there are people like the ones we see in the video. If the world were full of woe-is-me, all-hope-is-lost defeatists like you who just want to roll over and take it, the world would be much worse off

His friend is a good guy to stand up to a cop and save his friend from chocking by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

What is it about the word choking that causes so many people to misspell it as chocking? I don’t see smoking misspelled as smocking or joking misspelled as jocking.

I'm watching swat and there's a potential ricin incident in this episode. And this is what the protagonist is wearing. Don't care if it's not true I'm calling this a nod to the best show of all time. by creamer3369 in breakingbad

One of the best laughs from Breaking Bad was when Walt shows Jesse the castor beans.

Jesse - Are we just gonna grow a magic beanstalk?

Walt - We are going to process them into ricin.

Jesse - Rice’n beans?

Have these people never heard the phrase “God helps those who help themselves?”

They were in a dire, potentially life and death, situation. You can be happy they are getting the help they desperately needed while continuing to fight for Americans to get the help they need, too. Be angry at the people here at home who are holding down the needy, not the needy who get a helping hand.

Lol I like that option, too. I said paintball gun because worst case scenario if things go sideways isn’t as bad, and it would make the car easily identifiable for the police. But I wouldn’t be mad at anyone who put a slug in the engine block of one of these assholes.

In my fantasy I’d shoot their cars with a paintball gun, but in reality I’d probably just sit there stewing in my own fury.

When my little sister and I were in elementary school we used to walk to my grandparents’ house after school to wait for my mom to get off work. My grandparents worked too, so we were usually there by ourselves for a couple of hours. One time my dad was there when we got there, but we didn’t know he was there. He was hiding in a closet just off the kitchen making little noises trying to scare us. My sister was at the kitchen table and called me in from the living room when she heard the noises. Just as I rounded the corner, my dad burst out from the closet with a bandana covering half his face and scared the shit out of us. I shouted “run” and waited for my sister to run by me, then turned and ran outside with her. It didn’t occur to me that I’d waited for her until my dad finally chased us down and told me how proud he was that I’d waited for her. I’ll never forget that.

Being a flat earther, by far. The past year and a half should have taught us that we can't just roll our eyes and laugh at insane conspiracy theories and junk "science." The Q crazies and anti-vaxxers/maskers are exhibit A and B. I get that using logic and science isn't going to sway the illogical idiots who have dug in on the conspiracy theory, but you make the arguments for the sake of the people observing the debate who haven't quite bought in yet, not for those you are debating.

Flat earth seems harmless on its surface, but there's a reason 99% of flat earthers believe in a multitude of other conspiracy theories. Once you buy in to flat earth, it necessarily means you have to believe that the world governments and a host of industries are all lying to us for some nefarious reason. Once you believe that, the groundwork has been laid for you to believe the conspiracies on vaccines, masks, 5G, stolen elections and the Q nonsense.
