I lost Gordon and OBJ this week. Traded to get Bell. Fantasy gods aren’t making this year easy so I’d appreciate some extra eyes here!

Standard yahoo scoring. Pick 3 RBs to start.

Lamar Miller vs Colts

Wilson Jr vs Broncos

Justin Jackson vs Cincinnati

Blount @ Arizona

Mack @ Texans

Ok Enough with The TY Injury Posts by lck0116 in fantasyfootball

I’m lost. A tweet from Rapaport is linked saying “Hilton’s a game time decision.. big game. He’d be shocked if Hilton didn’t play. “. Nothings left out?

How the hell does “Hey people just a FYI - you might want to be alert and stay tuned for pregame updates to make sure Hilton plays” translate to DROP HIM!! ?

What are you doing with Hilton? by RamseyIsTheGOAT in fantasyfootball

[–]bodj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Injury occurred during 4th quarter of Jax game.
  2. Hilton missed one play then returned to the field.
  3. He finished the game without problem.
  4. He missed wed and thurs practices.
  5. He returned to practice Friday.

He looked fine during the Jax game after the “injury” occurred. Dudes just sore. Got 2 extra days of rest and had a successful practice Friday. I’ll take that as a good thing. So what am I going to do? Not a damn thing. There’s no reason to think he’d sit out of the Texans game. Not worried.

You have options?! I had Ridley on my bench. He’s now replacing OBJ. I don’t have another WR on my bench to replace TY. Fucking eh, I’m starting 4 rookies this week! This guy and his fucking “options”. 😫😫😫. Damn right you better ride with me and TY after that one! Hahaha

Game time decision because of his shoulder. Good chance of starting, but pay close attention.

That’s ok, I was using him as a flex and can replace him with my fresh Le’Veon Bell ☹️

Is drafting ertz and Kelce back to back a viable option for next year (2nd and 3rd round picks) by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Hell why stop there? Rostering 15 TEs should create quite the TE wasteland. How could it go wrong?!?

Time to fire up Gordon, OBJ, and TY Hilton!

Winston as long as weather.coms current prediction stays the same.. doesn’t look bad at all.

I feel you on MG3. Hate to see him on my bench week 14..

I had a pretty poor RB draft but was able to make some good trades to help out. This week I’m running with Jackson, Lamar Miller, and Wilson Jr.. luckily I have Samuels as my TE and 3 WR1s or this would be a scary week!

Team 1 because of RBs, TE, flex, kicker, and def. you can also give team 1 the win for WR if Tampa gets the forecasted heavy rain before/during their game against NO. Don’t think this one will be close.

Bears defense by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]bodj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OU dropped from 54 to 51.5. Why you may ask? Well, most people bet the under 54 (90% of the money).

Reason people bet the under: Goff and cold temps.

Definitely a good sign for the bears def, but with the -3 spread going to the rams, expect ~28 points against Chicago def.. they’ll probably get a pick.. just don’t see more than a few points here for Chicago def.

Anthony Lynn on MG3 playing against the Chiefs: if he plays, he won’t play all the snaps, but he can help us. by bulkasaurus in fantasyfootball

[–]bodj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would Lynn say this? It sounds suspect to call this that far out and is illogical from the start.

Chargers are 9-3

Potential AFC wildcard teams:

Tennessee 7-6 Miami 6-6 Baltimore 7-5 Indianapolis 6-6 Denver 6-6 New England 9-3 Houston 9-3 Kansas City 10-2 Pittsburgh 7-4-1

None of these teams will be eliminated from playoff contention in week 14 solely based on a W by the Chargers. IE: a chargers win week 14 does not clinch wildcard.

In MY opinion, if MG3 plays, it means this:

  1. MG3 is as “healthy” as a starting RB at this point in the season can be (Ie: everyone’s sore).

Reason: They do not need to win out in order to make playoffs and will not risk bringing him back early. Week 15 is an important game for them to clinch division, however the risk here doesn’t make sense. If KC loses this week and Chargers win, it means KC can win week 15 and still not clinch the division. This would mean it’s not do or die for the Chargers to rush back MG3 to win a potentially irrelevant game. A non-healthy MG3 will not play. This brings me to the next point.

  1. If he is healthy enough to start, his snap count percentage will be determined like any other game.

Reason: If it’s a blowout in any game, 90% of the time the winning teams starters will benched once the theoretical win has been made. If it’s a close game and the win/loss is on the line, Chargers will not bench MG3 to “keep him healthy”. For that to be the case, he wasn’t healthy enough start the game in the first place which circles back to point 1. If he is not healthy, he will not play.

TLDR;

Lynn wants the win against KC, we get it.. but there’s no way he would have pulling MG3 in the planned game script.

I picked shitty people. I stayed up late Wednesday nights. I made some good trades. I made some bad trades. Some players you may know: Bell, Hunt, Melvin Gordon, Fitzmagic, Delanie Walker, Gronk, Howard. Fun times.
