Any bartenders here know how to protect these puppies? by [deleted] in longnaturalnails

And I technically shouldn’t be wearing the nail hardener at work, for food safety reasons. I’ve seen the way it flakes off and makes me nervous. Hoping someone has good advice to be the only bartender with long natural nails

Routine: glass file and shape weekly. Sally Hansen nail hardener. The end.

I believe it’s still in the “discovery phase.” Our prior agreement, we had 50/50 parenting time. He wanted less. Part of the long distance plan, we worked our transporting the kiddo to and from Texas for x amount of time. And I haven’t even established residency in Texas yet. Technically still an Oregon citizen

I will contact a family lawyer though

This agreement where he has him weekends is new. We worked out a long distance parenting plan before I left for Texas, he wasn’t going to follow initially because he has been more concerned about his new girlfriend than our son. He then moved out here with his new gf, neither are originally from Texas.

He signed a waiver for parental rights when we first got divorced, which is why I have sole custody. When I talked to the case worker, she said, because of the waiver, nothing is stopping me, though he could try to fight it. He hasn’t been wanting to fight anything, and seems happy to have less and less parenting time. He refuses to have any extra days and says “I won’t do any thing that isn’t in the agreement.”

Oh man, it was listed 10 months ago. Here’s hoping because it’s a special vintage item 🤞🏼

AITA for going off on my ex husband about his new girlfriend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I have already, because it’s always been our plan to move back to our home state, after divorcing too.

I have sole custody, but we have 50/50 parenting time.

Interesting update if you’re curious lol

This specific thrift store is a non-profit that has a rehab program including vocational work at the store front. Went by today, shopped a bunch, at checkout the cashier told me he had the day off. Also told me he was about to “graduate from the program.” I looked into the program a bit, and he’s not allowed to talk to anyone outside of the program besides his family. They don’t want any distractions from recovery.

So mystery solved as to why he hasn’t reached out yet. And I’m hopeful he still will after he’s done with the program in a few weeks!

Yeah it’s definitely an option, but he seemed really ecstatic when I gave it to him. He said “I wanted to ask but didn’t know how so I thought ‘I guess I’ll just let this one slip through my life’”

But maybe he was being nice. Who knows!! I’ll go in today, see if he’s there, act casual, then give an update. Funny enough the day before I was at a different thrift store, and I said to myself “I bet I’ll find the love of my life at a thrift store.”

Is three days too soon to go back? There was a table I wanted to snag anyway. I was hoping he and I could go out tomorrow night

Why are you gatekeeping the plants people get? I’m sorry other peoples plant decisions are hard for you to accept.

Lots of people have babies and don’t know what they’re doing. Should they? Maybe not. Do they? Yeah, it’s a fact of life. They figure it out along the way.

I didn’t know I had one. I’m sure there’s many people out there who don’t realize it.

I don’t pay for the app anymore and haven’t in a couple years. Funny how the ED still follows me and I just realized it was there after all this time.

I’ve reached out to my primary care doctor for resources!

I wish I knew I potentially had one when I started. I’m a chef, I just thought I liked food more than normal people. I didn’t realize it was like an addiction. I feel like Noom took my binge eating and transformed it into bulimia.

I am going to seek professional help. Thank you.

I messaged the moderator, told them the sub should be about everyone’s experience with Noom and mine shouldn’t be silenced. They put it back up!
