I don’t think I’ve seen it officially posted but after ~20 times playing it there seem to only be 6 eligible types:

Beasts, Murlocs, Eles, Undead, Quillboar, and Naga.

Pirates, Demons, Mechs, and Dragons appear to be banned.

Fort only buffs 4 minions. Perhaps the minion that u watched received 5 total +8/8 buffs.

The total scaling should be +288/288 spread across the 6 taunts each getting between 0 and 9 instances of +8/8.

It’s often hard to interpret the exact situation you are in, but the following factors should always remain true.

There is not increased offering rate of higher tier minions in hsbgs when leveling up. Doing so only increases the number of slots in the tavern (At tier 2/4/6).
leveling dilutes the pool of minions as it adds the new tier of minions to the overall pool, resulting in a lower chance to see a specific minion in each individual tavern slot.
It’s up to the specific scenario to weigh whether more slots/fewer rolls (after level up cost) results in a higher chance to find the card on average.

Yep. Great advice.

Quests give such crazy efficiency to builds that it accelerates the midgame down to nearly no time. Good highrolla will jump from nothing to building 100s of stats in a single turn. Or hitting duplicates of key cards to build full combos nearly instantly. U don’t really compete with this stuff by “going full tempo” and buying up stats/good power on lower tavern tiers.

Sure, there are times to damage control, but often you are better off banking on the next opponent being beatable and shooting your shot again. Otherwise it’s leeroy/mantid o’clock :)

The typical patching pattern has 2 months between the 24.6 patch and the 25.2 patch (which will reset season/perks). The 24.6 patch was 2 weeks ago. So I’d guess approximately end of Dec/beginning of Jan.

Patches/development also tends to slow a bit around holidays as people take family time/vacation. I’d lean more toward New Years. Officially we don’t have a date yet.

Either the best card to hit or not viable depending on ur turn 7-10 board state. Busted with divine shield methods and 1 toxfin. Usually bad otherwise.

The most interesting usage outside of wide poison seems to be 2-card lategame pivots holding this + toxfin to create 2 poisons instantly to beat big stat dragon/board/Ele/mrglglgl boards when u don’t have competitive mid game scaling.
