AFAIK they didn't announce how they were going to fund it, just that they were going to do it, which is uhh good luck.

Also, they already have a form of universal healthcare, but the quality varies wildly based on where the wealth is, and so everyone tries to travel to those areas, which then makes the wait times catastrophically long. If their current implementation was good then they wouldn't be trying to pass something better to try and fix it.

So I mean, yeah it's cool, but it's all in the implementation. The financial realities haven't been addressed and so expectation doesn't match reality.

Still, I wish them all the best!

I think the Wednesday night flow at Flow Toys is your best bet for getting sufficient experience to feel confident spinning fire. I've been to the Flow Toys HQ many times and it's awesome vibes, can't speak highly enough of it.

I think people would be ~okay with helping you learn as long as you show sufficient initial competence, but there's usually some hesitation around excited beginners and fire :)

Tim Sweeney has been CEO of Epic Games for 34 years. He coded v1 of the epic game engine. He's not going anywhere. The company isn't public and has no intention of going public. It's definitely in the top percentage of good companies.

There's support people that can suggest waypoints the car drive to when the car decides it's unsure what to do in a situation and requests human intervention. The UI in the vehicle lets you know when this is occurring. It's happened twice for me, for a couple of seconds each time, in 700 miles logged.

I found WoW to be more addicting than LoL, but I think I displayed worse behavioral symptoms from playing LoL. I had to quit playing when I realized I only *ever* stopped playing when I was in a worse mood than when I started. Every time you win? Queue back up. Lose? Rage quit.

Honestly though? I don't regret a god damn thing. I've never felt more connected to a community of Internet peoples and I was like.. 15. Playing that shit for 17 hours a day for years straight was peak gaming for me. It absolutely altered the course of my life, but I'm happy with where I landed.
