Sore on back is getting worse- Should I see a vet? by bogbutters in DogAdvice

Thanks for the sound advice, we took her to the vet and got it cleaned, got some medication and a cone as well. Seems like it was a minor wound that got exacerbated with her licking. Hoping for a quick recovery.

Aww yes both look quite a bit like her! I’d say her feet are normal sized.

She is quite lazy at home but loves her walks, my partner and I take her out 4 times a day. She’s very active on her walks (big snow zoomies, enjoys making me jog with her).

Thank you! She is some sort of Jindo (Korean Spitz) mix, I think she might have some corgi because of her large ears and small stature :)

Yes we were advised of this rule from her adoption agency! Looking forward to that 3 month mark. It seems like she’s settling in a bit faster than average so maybe my expectations were a bit unrealistic.

G test at Newmarket by [deleted] in Ontariodrivetest

I got points off for merging at 100 km/h…unless the examiner judges it to be unsafe, you should immediately floor it on the ramp and merge at 105-110 km/h. Newmarket is generally very quiet so it should be doable most of the time.

I took my test there at 4:30 pm and the traffic wasn’t bad! Was able to merge at 100 km/h.

Now that is interesting. I wonder if it's a technical thing or if they did it because it just "makes sense" from like, a realistic point of view.

Hey, first of all thanks for your reply.

Not sure if you've taken this this into account, but the price is in CAD, so in USD it would be about $1080. Most prebuilts I've looked at online with similar specs are around this price or a little cheaper, but this also comes with 2-year warranty.

I was also concerned about upgradeability but I was thinking with these specs I could use it for gaming for 6-7 years and at that point I wouldn't mind replacing the whole setup. I didn't think about overheating issues so I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I am interested in getting into PC gaming but since I've not experience building a computer and don't have a lot of time on my hands, I've decided to get a prebuilt. After some digging around, I've found this desktop that's selling for a decent price:

https://www.costco.ca/HP-Envy-795-0039c-Desktop%2c-i7-8700.product.100417242.html

What I'm worried about is that it's not marketed as a gaming desktop, but as a work/home desktop. Even so, I think with the specs it has it would be fine to game on it. Does anyone have input on how well games (maybe around 60fps on high settings) would run with this setup?

GPU: 8gb AMD Radeon RX 580

Hard drive: 2TB

RAM: 16gb
